My boudoir - S Wales

I’ve just fallen down a Eurotrash rabbit hole! It’s so addictive. I forgot how good it was and it ran for 16 series!!!

I had a sneaky peaky, and found some episodes with The Eggheads, Lola, some Scandinavian men in a sauna whacking each-other with bushes, and a German pig squealing contest

Bring back Eurotrash!

Did anyone else used to watch it? Who was your favourite guest?

Yes JPG and Antoine de Caunes.

The narrator was my favourite! And the voice over dubbing on the clips, using British slang and stupid voices while they were talking in foreign languages!

Yes I think Lola died didn’t she?

Lola did die. I once read somewhere she had an horrific life and her husband used to force her to work/make appearances at places and it was mega painful when anyone touched her breasts (which obvs happened all the time!) how sad indeed

Only the cool kids watched Eurotrash ….I’m not cool ….but I did watch it.

It certainly deserves repeating, but I dread a modern update it’s certainly classic TV.

If I remember Nirvana used to watch it, when they toured the UK in the early 90’s. Saw a documentary recently about it.

Whilst we did watch it, guilty pleasure. Did feel sorry for poor Lola, who really needed help somewhere along the line.

used to watch it now and then

My German teacher substituted for my French teacher in upper school for a lesson. So we just watched a video of what he described as the German Simpsons

Just remember animated old women tits on a swing.

Couple of weeks later the very same show appeared on eurotrash

Clive James used to do a great New Years Eve show. He was the Charlie Brooker of his day, never dissed these shows he saw the beauty in them or even the uniqueness of the format.

Massive Clive James fan here, loved his books as well

Euro trash was an institution for teenage boys like myself in the 90’s… so many, many, many great wanks.

I also know of at least one hot woman that regularly lady wanked whilst tuning in.

Thank you euro trash.

That whole era of late night TV was magic. Eurotrash, The Word, Hitman and Her, Carnal Knowledge, James Whale, the list is extensive. And of course the mad public service adverts - do your night time routine or make way for horses etc. Mad times, and the Beeb played the national anthem then closed down for the night - give me that any day rather than Ideal world and news 24!!!

I used to watch it as a teenager after some fucking about with the coathanger aerial I had attached to my 14" portable TV to get a half decent picture! It was the closest I could get to porn but it was a long wank treading water while odd Europeans were doing some weird shit before you got a glimpse of some boobs or a bit of 90's bush
