"That’s an age old annoying trick frequently played by kids as is the other classic of running after an ice cream van shouting ‘stop!’ and when it does, keep on running past."
Kids I get, but I'm talking about adults |

My wife gets really annoyed when she presses the button, but I cross the road anyway if there's no traffic coming...
....and the lights then change, causing the next vehicle to have to stop when we've already crossed... |

"To be honest. We do this. But it's a cross road junction thing so we press the nearest button and then walk to the next one where we want to cross "
Get that, but I'm talking about the ones who press and don't cross at all, seen a lot more of it |

Maybe they're the kids who used to do it but never progressed to driving themselves so don't realise how annoying it is?
Or maybe they're just cnuts and don't care as long as they're having fun? Insular and ignorant. |

"Coz they’re cunts. "
Is that the punch line?
Is this a while new genre of 'why did the chicken cross the road' jokes.
Its evolution right in front of us... |

As someone said, coz they are cunts.
Just like those who press it when there's no traffic then cross without waiting for it, or those who can safely cross without having to use it but press and wait. |
