The end of a loaf of bread?
Not a joke btw just curious as it varies from place to place. In London an ex’s family called it the nobby. Always made me laugh. |

"To be honest I just eat it as its my favourite bit but apparently it's called either the heel or the butt. Crust can be found all around a loaf , not just the ends. "
Spot on, the crust is the outside of the whole loaf, not the ends. You get crust on each slice. |
