"Omg I have some kind of addiction to Amazon
I have only purchased 11 things so far this year. So I’m doing ok for now. 11 above average in 2 days xx "
It’s a step down from last month’s (non Christmas related) purchases.
But I buy a lot of props for my photography course, so I’m always on there. |

Nope.
There was a book I was after, found it on amazon and they had a list of 3rd party sellers who also had it through their marketplace.
I found the one with a good price and googled the name of the seller and bought it direct from their website, also getting it cheaper because of free postage |

"Am I missing out, I’ve never purchased anything on Amazon. "
I'm the same,I mean call me old fashioned but I like to do this somewhat novel thing of walking into a shop and buying something
Amazing I know that you can actually walk into another building and see stuff for real
Who knew hey .....lol |

"Yes! A book. Field guide to the Haunted Forest.
Aokigahara? Are you planning on visiting?
It’s history is both fascinating and tragic."
Is that the japanese one. My daughters are really wanting to go there. Ive not read the book yet its from an account I follow on twitter but dont think it is about that, its more natural world poetry |

Nope found ebay to be better & had stock available before Xmas when amazon didn't. I might venture back eventually but for now it's ebay all the way even on new stuff not just bidding.
I buy locally for anything day to day to support my local town shops but have to buy online for both Gemma for safety reasons & other hobbies I can't get anywhere else. Online has its definite uses but please look closer to home wherever you can people & don't be lazy expecting it all dropped on your doormat by herpes |

"No, but I am waiting for stuff to arrive I bought last year. A bed dog bed and lots of tennis balls.
I did hear you were a fan of balls.
Tell grotbags to sort it out. "
I'll be sending in a grievance form addressed to grotbag if she doesn't sort it out. |

No, stopped using Amazon a couple of years ago.
I buy all my books from my local Bookshop as they are cheaper than Amazon and their 3rd party sellers, anything else I find I can get on Ebay or Etsy and in some cases direct from the manufacturer. |

Yes. You are both missing out. Let me explain. Oh and bear in mind that I like walking around shops and seeing goods too but Amazon will always win out for me and here is why.
Let's say it's midnight, I remember I need an xyz. I order that xyz there and then and go to bed then get up the next day and go to work. I don't have to worry about the xyz ever again, soon it comes to my door. YOU can't get to sleep that night cos you need an xyz but you are in work in the morning and so will have to wait until the weekend or dash to the shops right after work and find somewhere to park and HOPE that the shop have it when you get there and then pay and then carry it to the car if you have one or on the bus if you don't and pay for car parking etc and get home late etc.
Also ....Birthdays and Christmases....... I order from Amazon put the Birthday boy or Girls name and addy on and ask them to stick a label on saying Love from Granny or similar. YOU have to do your shop thing... get it home.... wrap it.....write a label ....double wrap it.... pay postage... make address labels etc..... go to post office etc..... ???? Just too daft to be real these days.
Loads more reasons ...... It's a ONE STOP SHOP goods, food , most things AND it's 24/7
You WILL be swept up eventually. Uncle Jeff is watching |
