The average bra size of women in the UK is 36D. This is bigger than the average of Europe, which is 34C.
Of course, breast sizes greatly vary from country to country. Below are the average cup sizes for some countries around the globe:

Did you know, most women don't know their true breast size and many clothing retailers that offer a bust measuring service don't actually provide the correct measurements. |

Also, many European countries don't have double letter sizes - ie. 38DD would be 38E in France and so on. So it's not quite the same.
I had terrible trouble lingerie shopping there a few years ago - didn't do my cup size  |
