You're bringing the important questions, thank you OP.

Thick heavy velvet curtains to match my inner emo self. Adore them.

It depends on what windows we're answering this question too. Living room? Blinds and curtains. Conservatory? Blinds

I'd say blinds. I quite like the thick venetian style. I do love a curtain too alongside blinds but depends on the room I suppose. If I could only pick one I'd go for blintains.

Both is good. Blinds for ease and a thick pole (no punt intenfed) with some lovely curtains. It all depends da on the look you want to achieve, style you follow, type of house etc.

Who needs a spare sock when you have curtains?

Its a tough one, many varieties and styles of curtains, also good for keep in the warmth, but they dont offer the same versatility as blinds when it comes to lighting as you decide how much light to let in with how much open the blinds, just a crack (haha) or fully open. Plus when the sun is shining through they give a noce ambience with the stripes of light shining through, especially during sunrise/sunset

Oh mate, f**king curtains! I got blinds. The winter hour clock ( or is Summertime? Someone correct me ) pisses me right off. Daylight streaming through the slats when I wanna be bathed in darkness

Oh, I forgot. This is about the mornings, lying in bed. Wanting a cocoon of dark.

"Curtains vs Blinds: You decide "

My nan had curtains.

Not a big fan - it is all about blinds and shutters. Or better still photovoltaic glass

Should say has curtains in addition to the blinds- never pull the curtains apart from the bedroom ones
