Which Disney Character

Which Disney character do you relate to the most? Or that you particularly like?

For me, I’ve got 2 I’ve always really loved and sort of related to, particularly Ariel (the little mermaid) was the one that I related to the most and loved from childhood, being stuck in a body and a life that didn’t belong to her, and reclaiming it in the end by living the way she knew she was meant to live it. It is very powerful

Also, the first transpecies character? Haha!

The other one is Pocahontas, because let’s face it, what a queen ! I mean she could paint with the colours of the wind and I loved that she was one of the first non-white princesses to pop up in the 90s , and taught John Smith that there are different paths in life, and there’s not one right answer, and every life has significance,

So, tell me your characters (and why if possible) x

Pinocchio

I've been easily led astray by the razzle dazzle and lure of good things, and I have lied loads. I've lied to myself so many times telling myself "nah, they're not mugging you off, they'd not have the balls" or "nobody would be that mean or cruel"

OK, this is something a bit different. It's a little tricky and I think it would be interesting to ask friends also to see if they would choose differently.

My personality is quite mischievous and fun, with kindness thrown in. Therefore I'm going with either Maui (Moana, and I can sing You're Welcome word for word) or Tinkerbell as she's a right little minx.

100% and the same for Maui in a way, he sought praise and thrived off that. So I'm kind of like that, in a less arrogant way

I’d be Dory from finding Nemo- fuck all sense of direction, likes to help people see the world from a different perspective, try’s to remind people that sometimes you have to take risks and let go to fully live your life. You have to believe in yourself and keep going, even if the people around you insist you’ll fail. xx

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m very much an Olaf from Frozen

He also spouted a seemingly limitless amount of weird and wonderful facts (especially in Frozen 2) to a decidedly disinterested audience.

I for one however found his factoids to be utterly fascinating. ‘Did you know that turtles can breath through their butts?’

Probably one of the seven dwarfs taking my turn at keeping a smile on the face of Snow white.

Hi hi, hi ho,

It's off to work we go,

With a shovel and stick,

And a workmans prick,

Hi hi, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho.

While another one sings:

Hi ho, hi ho,

Dopies on the poe,

He wipes his bum,

With chewing gum,

Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho.

And for the Afghanistan version:

Hi ho, hi ho,

It's off to work we go,

With a shovel and a spade,

And a hand grenade,

Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho.
