Good afternoon, it seems like most people have a tattoo (especially on fab) so as I’m nosey I was wondering how many people actually don’t have a tattoo. I’ll start, I don’t have any |

"Proud owner of one of the last remaining non inked bodies.
I’m just terrified of needles. "
I was waiting for my vaccine, the lady in front wanted her friend to go in with her because she was terrified of needles, she had a lot of tattoos, this confused me. I’m sure someone can explain |

Hey! I can explain; having a tattoo is very different to having an injection or blood taken. The needles only really lick the skin, rather than going into it... |

Why
Just never had the urge to do it, if I did I would want a whole leg sleeve
You would suit it
Quite a few people have said that. "

Yeah completely different type of needles. I’ll go in with a picnic and headphones and sit for 6 hours at a time for a tattoo but having my bloods done which takes seconds, completely freaks me out! |

"Lemme rephrase it. What are you opinions on tattooed and people that are tattooed - aimed to non inked people"
I absolutely love them to look at. And asking about them. And the stories behind them. I’m just not brave enough to get any! And the older I get the more I prefer being tattoo free as it seems to be more rare these days. |

I don't have any as I've never thought of anything I care about enough to have permanently on my skin. On the other hand, I do find tattoos really attractive on women |

I love them personally.
But then as a rocker and also growing up around motorbikes, I've always been around people with plenty of tattoos.
I seemed to be the unique one without any. |

I don't have an opinion on them as such. But like paintings there are ones I like and those I don't. |

I haven't got any and niether have any of my cousins because, our grandfathers had them, and eventually they became indistinguishable as the skin alters over the years. I had an older brickie working here who got his in Hong Kong during his national service. When I asked him what it was, he traced the outline of a Scottish piper, but to anyone you couldn't make out what it was. I've got feeling that a few might live to regret making this fashion statement in years to come.
I haven't got any piercings either, but that's because I have enough pricks to deal with during office hours without decorating myself with them. |

I don't have any. I don't think I'll get any any time soon to be honest.
I don't have any particular opinions on them, sometimes they look good, sometimes less so but they're not something I think about really. |

Is that because the needle and feeling is completely different when having a tattoo? |

Having blood drawn or something injected is flipping painful and feels weird. |

"Lemme rephrase it. What are you opinions on tattooed and people that are tattooed - aimed to non inked people"
People with tattoos get very annoyed when anyone criticises the popularity of them currently. I’ve met people who feel they’re pressured into having them, so they can fit in.
I’ve had friends and neighbours asking when am I getting ‘inked up’.
For me the counter culture attitude they once had has been diluted by the masses. Someone complained about being treated differently because they had some. Surely that’s why you have them in the first place, to stand out, play by your own rules, two fingers up to normal people, be unique ?
Or are you just following the fashion ?
I get there’s a ‘story’ behind each one and they have some sort of deeper meaning, but to me it’s a tattoo nothing more.
I won’t go on threads in which people are admiring each other’s work. In some cases I think they’re impressive. But surely it must annoy anyone with tattoos that you’re just part of a fashion trend now ? |

I don’t really have an opinion. They’re just there or they’re not there. I don’t get the tattoos turn me on thing. They’re ok. I personally don’t like them on faces and necks and hands though. |

I don't have any although I've always wanted one. I know exactly what I want and where but it's very sentimental and personal to me so I need to find someone that I trust to do it justice. And about £300 |

Do you research. and speak to a hundred people with tattoos. You'll get more than 100 answers, as people go from parlour to parlour, over the years. Then trust your own judgement. |

I don't have any tattoos, and I have one piercing in the centre of each earlobe.
Other people's tattoos are none of my business as a rule - some I like, some I don't, but it's not my body or place to judge. |

I have done, still not found anywhere that I feel I can put that much faith in. It may forever stay as a drawing. |

I don't have any either. As a kid I desperately wanted them but now, being a fully paid up member of the uncool gang, I'm happy to be ink free.
I am fascinated by them and who wears them; they can be such a turn on but I must admit to struggling with them around the neck and face. |

go for a henna tat, then see how you feel, then let it fade. If you miss it, then go for it, if you don't... |

Didn't have any ... but in full mode midlife crisis so got one a week ago or so
Some warned it would be painful ...but actually I can say getting 'your bits' waxed is way more eye watering |

Same here.
Plus I’m very picky and detail/quality focused with stuff like that, so unless it was Michelangelo reincarnated on the other end of the gun, not happening. |

Might be a psychological fear.. she may associate injections and getting a tattoo as two different experiences. I know some people that fall asleep getting tattoos as they were that comfy but show a nurse with a needle, and they run a mile. The human mind and how it works can be a mystery after all lol |
