My nan used to have a thing called a Buttoneer (I think) that fired buttons on to your clothes without using a needle and thread...I was easily impressed as a small child |

I attempted to sew a button on a blouse a couple of weeks ago - I’m not kidding, I could have driven to the shops bought a new blouse and driven back in the time it took me to thread that needle |

I've darned some socks this week
I'm quite a dab hand with a needle and thread, my mother taught me at a young age to sew I even learnt how to knit ...lol |

Sewed my eldest sons hoodie where the neck was coming loose and his school pe t shirt he ripped. I don't mind doing general repairs.

Wonderweb is good for hems - who cba to do hidden stitching
