"I use reading glasses if the text is tiny and there’s not enough light.
But mainly so I can take them off when I look someone squarely in the eye and look sincere "
The eyes over the glasses with a raised eyebrow is a look
I can't see, but I know how contemptuous I look |

No idea if I’m long or short sighted but I’m supposed to wear glasses. I’ve got quite a bad astigmatism apparently … I am needing my specs more and more. |

Did have 20/20 vision in both eyes but I now have something called ADEMA in both eyes but badly in my right eye which is down to about 20% vision now.
My eye specialist injected my right eye last Tuesday but it’s not improved which is a fucker but I’m back to him in three weeks so hopefully he will try another injection.

Quite short sighted, worse in my right eye. Also got glaucoma, damage to visual field in both eyes but thankfully the blind spots don't overlap so I have full field of vision with both eyes and have passed DVLA's vision test. Glaucoma currently stabilised with 4 lots of eye drops!

Short sighted with astigmatism in one eye so bad that you can physically see that my eyes are different shapes by looking at me. I'm a lopsided monster lol! |

Quite long sighted in both eyes. Astigmatism in my left eye. Two lazy eyes, so my eyes point in the same direction but go cross eyed really easily, and anything too close to my eyes hurts me when they try to focus, and makes me go cross eyed.
Blindfolds during sex make that problem disappear |

I was medley short sighted and had laser surgery about 13 years ago. My distance eyesight is still at 20/20 but recently started to struggle with reading so now have reading glasses |

Left eye, was best for long distance and reading.
Right eye, always bad for long distance and reading, I could read hallmarks with it once.
Now, left eye has got a catatract, just waiting for the operation date to come in the post. |

Oh god, short sighted, long sighted as astigmatism.
I wear glasses for driving and watching the telly. I could do with those bi focal things but I refused....
I have to wear my glasses for driving at night, have no spatial awareness or depth perception without them |

Small long sighted prescription with a small astigmatism that's never really changed throughout my years. Lovely presbyopia is creeping in so needing them more for the computer and close work now |

Blind as a bat without my glasses
Readers for screen work
Varifocals for normal (that I seem to have on most of the time)
Prescription sunglasses when I’m in the car during daylight
My eyesight is definitely deteriorating |

My vision is perfect, mr on the other hand is long sighted in one eye, short sighted in the other and has an astigmatism in both.
Putting his glasses on feels like I have just necked a bottle of gin. |

Supposed to wear them for concentration tasks. So definitely a must for looking at boobs on here.
TV, night driving, computer.
Not an eye term, can't remember what that is, but my racking focus is getting a bit worse. |

There is a saying… light at the end of the tunnel… that’s me
I’m now sight impaired… due to a condition called retinitis pigmentosa (hereditary).
Night blindness/ tunnel vision it can be called as well.
Basically my peripheral vision is deteriorating so my mates and colleagues can have fun watching me walk into wet floor signs or trip over feet
I won’t let it stop me going out and about and visiting clubs |

Did anyone else fake a eye test at primary school so they could get glasses which in turn caused damage and now can't see anything without glasses
No? Just me then |

Specs since the age of seven. 10 years ago I needed two sets of glasses. One for reading and the other for driving. Due to short sightedness.
Tried contact lenses 40 years ago. Couldn't get on with them. - Unless d*unk. Just wanted to scratch my eyes out as soooo itchy.
Would never wear contacts now. After reading that they are the worst thing imaginable for your eyes. Just a breeding ground for bacteria. |
