" A good point; It’s even more confusing to me than those ‘bang the shape into the correct shaped hole’ pre school games which I’ve never yet managed to master…"
I never managed to master that either... |

"Says the man who will only eat triangle sandwiches
My toast in the morning also needs to be cut into triangles "
Triangles do taste better
I read a scientific explanation for this curious phenomena not so long ago but have sadly forgotten it
I think it was actually relating to how much one could get into one’s mouth and the taste overload. |

"I always wonder why you get *on* a train but *in* a car.
It goes from the time where the train or bus stops and you get on, where as a car you get in. Hope this helps xx"
It doesn't help my pedantic mind but thank you for explaining |

"Also make you wonder why in the English language so many words sound the same but have different spellings and meanings !!"
It's really annoying for speakers of English as a second language. Mind you I tried explaining the pronunciation of Kansas and Arkansas to someone once and failed miserably |

"Circular boxes are more expensive to manufacture and don’t tessellate
Dough is easiest to shape into an oval shape
The only way to divide a circle up equally into more than 2 pieces is triangles
"
Thanks for the info.
I will have to see on Google what tessellate means! |

"Homemade one are any shape you like - you can even use biscuits cutters to make fun pizzas. "
Now you have really confused him! If only you could hear his response to that it was brilliant. |

"I always wonder why you get *on* a train but *in* a car."
Giving this a nano seconds thought I have an answer.
You are on the train, no control and free to roam about, so on it.
In a car you can't roam around you are seated in it, confined.
It made sense to me |

"So… is there pizza or not?
Only pineapple that's been removed from the pizza
Next you’ll be putting mangoes in lasagne
I hate pineapple on pizza and that sounds like a even worse combo there "
Fruit (other than tomato before someone gets pedantic) and Italian food do not belong together |

"Why is it that Pizzas are round, served in a square box and cut into triangles to eat?...
Far too many shapes for my liking...
And that’s where thinking gets you… lol "

There's only one crust on triangles so it could be that. I'm not bothered, I eat my crusts and have curly hair to prove it |

A pizza slice is not actually classed as a triangle because of the curved edge on one side, a triangle is three straight sides.
Haha sorry its my random bit of info me and my partner was surprised I knew as its so random!! |

Triangles are defined as having 3 sides, no mention of them needing to be straight |

Dictionary definition of "triangle"
"A plane figure with three straight sides and three angles."
The sides have to be straight.
