I tied out a class of Ninjutsu, when I was up in Newcastle, many moons ago. I was better suited to the back-to-back grappling and fighting on the floor. I learnt the art of dirty fighting and how to drop to the floor, whip out the assailant's ankles and watch them drop to the ground, landing on the old coccyx. 'Truly painful and very effective in a tight squeeze.
Never got to the shooting stars bit. |

Did some of the shooting stars stuff a few days ago - using pressure points - took me all of the weekend to recover LOL! Recommended but quite hardcore! |

I did karate as a youngster and loved it… then my dad got me to go boxing at 12 as it was cheaper (no lie)
And I then boxed amateur and also boxed in the army.
I’m all for any kind of martial art as I believe in gives the pupil so much confidence, discipline and self belief. Boxing for me was a great sport. And I loved competing and junior and adult level. |

Most recently its MMA, thai boxing, boxing, wrestling and jiujitsu (of which I suck ass) - none of them I can be consistant with since the bill collectors are the only people to put their hands down my trousers.
I have done, to varying degrees, shotokan and wado ryu karate, kickboxing, chin woo kung fu and sanda, tai chi, jkd, capoeria, ninjutsu. |
