"Do you have a favourite hob?
Mine's the front left.
If you asked me this in person you would get a big hug.
I like the middle sized ones "
Aw yay! I like hugs!
So you look at the size and not where it is. That's just blown my mind. |

Well I like people who say such things as it just makes me feel nice. I like giving hugs too.
Hmmmm, I didn't think of it like that but there are two the same size and I like how one is top left and the other bottom right. So I guess it's a bit of both? |

"Front right obviously
That's my last favourite. You must be weird. "
Are you facing me so your left becomes my right? That’s the only way I can make sense of this |

"I dont trust people who dont have a favorite hub. Mine is always the biggest one.
Are you talking about hobs? "
Yeap. But I guess this principle can adopt any other situation, right? Bigger is better |

A good question indeed; We need more like this on Fab…
Upon careful reflection, I have opted for the rear left.
Pros: The saucepan is not likely to be knocked off and fall upon the floor.
Cons: Conceivably, resulting slashing from heating the contents of said cooking utensil are more likely to hit and stain the wall.

Surely it depends on the functionality and efficiency? |

I like front left, then back left, moving in a clockwise direction to my last favourite - front right. Always. No matter where I am or the size of them. |

"Wow yes the front left as well.
Now the cutlery drawer, that’ll bring out some arguments. Knives first, then forks and lastly spoons in that order from left to right "
This is so backwards it’s unreal |

Yeh it needs to be forks first as that's the way you lay them on a table so it makes sense to put them like that in the cutlery drawer. |

This could have been more interesting if respondents had added whether tey are let or right handed.
I am left handed but use the front right on the very rare occasion that I use the cooker.
If it can't be microwaved, I generally don't bother. Used the grill a couple of times in the last year and have never used the main oven.
I can safely say that Brexit induced turkey shortages won't be bothering me! |
