Whose thaf little blonde one with his own tv show? British guy
His entire routine is basically funny faces and voices. It’s primary level comedy and somehow he’s massively popular.
“Did you seen in the news someone’s grandma kicked off at Aldi? Can you imagine it?”

See that's the problem I see his social satire and observations more of an intelligent discussion over a stand up routine.
It's hard to deny some of his points are spot on. |

Russel Brand is an utter tw@t. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big) | |
I can manage a lot of them in small bits, like talk shows, panel game shows.
Katherine Ryan and Miranda Hart and Aisling Bea. Can all be good on them shows. (Cause people were asking about female)
I find standup of all comedians harder to take, and would find it hard to sit through any of them doing standup.
But there are some I can't even stand for little bits. I can't stand James Corden on anything. His whole "I'm going to insult everyone but it's okay cause I'm fat and one of you guys and it's banter" stick wears thin after half a second.
I can't stand Ricky Gervais hosting stuff for the same reason. "It's funny cause I was just a cunt to them", nah it wasnt. But I don't mind him in small roles in films etc he's not a Corden he won't make me avoid it.
Mellisa mccarty does my head in, I can't watch any of her films. Adam Sandler as he ages he just gets so bad. When he was younger he came across as a stupid stoner guy. But now he comes across as an adult with learning disabilities.
Anyway yeah loads are crap, that Whitehall and wydcome one or whatever have never made me laugh on anything they do, but they don't annoy me. |

Miranda Hart not funny at all.
Joe Pasquale in short measures is OK
Didn't really find Sean Lock funny but a shame to loose him,
So many so called comedians about today BUT they are not as funny anymore as They are ALL to scared to tell a joke incase they offend somebody. |

Another vote for Peter Kay.
Plus Vic Reeves, Milton Jones (I don't mind one-liners but he labours his point over and over again). |

When Sean Lock died was he found in a state of rigor mortice?
(For the easily offended he would have probably laughed his arse off at that).
As for funny comediennes; how about (the late) Caroline Aherne? |

"Most comedians on panel shows in recent years, dull as dish water."
Way too many panel shows! Also, whenever one of them gets a show of their own, THEY JUST BLOODY INVITE EACH OTHER ONTO THEIR OWN SHOWS.
I was thinking the other day that I really miss the Parkinson Show - he'd get some really varied and decent guests on there and didn't take the limelight at all. It wasn't a comedy show, but there were often comedians on there |

So many hilarious women out there!"

Joe Wilkinson what a complete an utter tw%%! I find him as funny as root canal with no anaesthetic!
I don't like Rosie Jones either - its not because she's disabled, its just a lot of comedy is about timing and if you have to wait for a punchline it slowly erodes the effectiveness of the joke. I admire her for her tenacity and bravery.
I love Lee Mack, Dylan Moran, Bill Hicks RIP, Dave Allen RIP, Tim Minchin, Tim Vine, Harry Enfield (Stavros and Loadsamoney) Ross Noble, Russell Kay, Julian Clary, Greg Davies, Nick Helm

Comedians I enjoy - Billy Connolly, Simon Evans, Bill Bailey, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Dave Chapelle. "
I quite like simon Evan's
. Very witty...though welsh and it's a slur on us love his expectant fathers joke.
Nisha Kumar has an unpleasant arrogance about himself...no where near as funny as he thinks he is..

The only thing even remotely funny Noel Fielding ever did was The Mighty Boosh, I always forget the other guy in it because he's way funnier!

Not funny, watched his stand up dvd on illegal stream and even then I wanted my money back.
As much fun as watching my tea bag brew.
Alan Davies.
Get more laughs from watching his Club Arsenal lose and AFTV.

Pleased to see that Michael McIntyre gets a slating. His renumeration vastly exceeds his talent!
Any comedian that relies on the Hackney hipster set for laughs... Nish Kumar is the prime example. Just not funny at all.
Some of the best were Tommy Cooper, Ken Dodd and Bob Monkhouse.
Oh, and Peter Kay is far better when he does the serious acting, not constantly shouting about "garlic bread"! |

It has to be James Corden and Rob Brydon.
They have zero talent.
That said, what passes for comedy nowadays just isn't funny so they fit in well. |

"Jimmy Carr , makes my skin crawl
Me too. "
A couple of people I know went to the recording of the "8 out of 10 cats" christmas show
Jimmy Carr performed a warm up act before the recording, to get the audience in the mood. However no one laughed at anything he said, so he ended up begging them with a "please laugh. I'm trying my best" |

Alan carr. I have never heard him say anything funny. As a tv or radio host he is not a latch in Graham Norton.
And James corden, funny at times but Jesus he loves himself. Resting expression is along the lines of “yeah, I am good aren’t I”. And then breaks his hole laughing at his own jokes and looks smug again. Wanker. |

Out-downs can be very funny. Watching frankie Boyle work his way along a front row is just outstanding. And I once watched Milton jones at a live show spending the entire show wiping the floor with a bloke that I know, who had been an arse in the first 2 minutes of the show. |

Is it possible to write off an entire gender as unfunny?
I’m staggered. "
For someone with limited knowledge and experience it is yes and for misogynists who can't see past the fanny and are actually scared of intelligent women it is too. They dare not 'see' It weakens the delusion of their own superiority. |

I used to go to the secret comedy club in
London, first timers would arrive late and have to sit on the only seats left …. The front row…. Poor guys were ripped to shreds. I loved how nothing was off limits too , jokes about terrorism, religion, gender, even a guy doing downs syndrome and pedo jokes, |
