I don't hate Beyonce, I just don't actively like her music. It's just meh.
I do loathe Tom Waits. His voice makes me grimace. Half a dozen people have been convinced they can find the track that will make me like him (I really do want to like him) but all have failed. |

I think the comment hinged on the word “despite”, suggesting that it is a surprise that she has gay fans despite being married to jay-z. But jay-z is probably one of better rappers when it comes to lgbt, so may just have been a misunderstanding on the part of the earlier poster, assuming jay-z would be a complete knuckle-dragger in this regard. I don’t see any suggestion in the post that there is anything wrong with having gay fans, more a different at j-zee |

I remember seeing him onstage at the Brits once doing a duet with Tom jones. It’s only when you hear his voice directly beside a real singer that you realise how shit it is, not in the same league. And he looked like a tit, jumping around onstage while jones actually looked like he knew what he was doing. I was embarrassed for Williams |

"Coldplay
I’m with you on this one most overrated band ever and here are a few more
Elbow
The Smiths(Morrisey)
James Arthur "
Another vote for James Arthur; He sounds as though he’s singing with his mouth full of phlegm |

The Smiths.
If ever there was a band that could push you over the edge, this was it.
Dreary, droning misery. |

Oasis
Take that
One direction
Westlife - although I now stop and listen for a minute as they were my nana's favourite. I think really she just fancied the arse off Ronan Keating |

I'm with you Nora, Adele and Sam Smith wouldn't miss them or their droning music. Hopefully they'll disappear up their own asses |

"Guns and Roses; heavy metal groups; Metallica, etc.
It baffled me, in the distant past, what people saw in Led Zeppelin!
Simon and Garfunkel was more my taste, but Paul Simon became a real pain in the a## in later years."
Yea that was a very unfortunate development, Simon and Garfunkel being so good and then paul Simon turning into a bit of an arse |

I can’t stand Lewis Capaldi. Even though I love the Scots and similar music such as paolo Nutini I just don’t like Lewis |

"Adele.
Agreed, great singer but her songs are soooooooo boring ??"
She's not even a great singer
She's got a powerful voice, granted, but it's not always the right note.
But I'd still rather listen to her than the caterwauling that is Whitney Houston or Mariah fucking Carey.... |

"Status Quo ! Just leave me cold
After 'Quo Live' I agree. "
Agreed. "Quo Live" is a fantastic album and shows that as a band they were once a force to be reckoned with, even I'd so e of the music was rather formulaic.
Just remembered that I also hate Nirvana
I was 18 and in my first term at uni when Nevermind came out, and I was arguably the ideal demographic to appreciate it. But I thought they were shit at the time, and 30 years later I still think they're shit |

"Gary FUCKING Barlow!!!
Does everyone love him though? Not sure. I know quite a few people who don't.
One of them does work for HMRC, which may be a factor.
Hmmm, true! I think I just wanted to get that loathing off my chest. I'm sure he's a lovely guy in real life though.
If we're going for singers, then Robbie Williams. Can't stand the prick.
Another vote here for that smug git! "
I was at Uni when he was popular. Played at you from every bedroom in halls of residence.
It was only fair that I played Metallica in return. |
