I love Scotland and the peak district but also like it to rain less and to be near the sea. So Cornwall or Devon - a good mix of great scenary and being near the sea |

"I'm cool with living in Northern Ireland. I wouldn't mind living on the Isle of Skye for a while though. "
Skye is beautiful and hopefully NI is too |

It's been too long since I went to Skye but it definitely is. NI is gorgeous, lots of beautiful scenery all over. As a County Down native I'm quite partial to it in particular. |

I love the Peak District, it has a little bit of everything that makes my heart race,
I love the west coast of Scotland, the Ardnamurchan area is stunning, the Pembrokeshire coastline is equally breathtaking. And the ragged cliffs of the Yorkshire coastline too.
They’re a few of my favourites. To hard to choose. Anywhere but a big city I like visiting them. But I like to get back to where my heart is. |

Wouldn't want to live anywhere other than God's own Yorkshire.
Has it all... the cosmopolitan vibrant cities, beautiful, dramatic countryside, cities steeped in history and some fantastic coastlines.

"If I didn't have to worry about work, then Somerset or Dorset."
We’ve gone entirely remote at work long term hence the question now that I no longer have to stay in England |

I’ve been fortunate to have lived 6 counties up and down the country. I’ve lived in cities, towns, and villages in the south, midlands and yorkshire.
I’m now back in Essex in the village I was brought up and it’s not massively different to how it was 50 years ago when I was a child apart from a few more houses and more to come.
So to conclude, somewhere in the countryside with views anywhere in England

Glasgow |
"Cornwall
It’s a popular choice! "
It should be. Visited last year for the first time and it is stunning. BUT hard to get to other places. It’d be on my retirement list when I’m too old to be adventurous.
I’ve been toying with a move too but finding it hard to move from here. 30 mins to Glasgow. 15 to Loch Lomond. And it’s darn pretty here. |
