Well I didn’t realise until I bothered to watch it, but I watched the divergent trilogy on Netflix. When actually reading up about it, the fourth was cancelled.
Now it’s not the best film franchise to be fair, but I was actually being entertained by it and didn’t mind it to much. What does annoy you, is when you don’t know what happens in the final chapter due to studios pulling the plug on the film/ show/ series etc.
So is there any you have watched and been annoyed there was no denouement to the plot lines?

Tris dies it is a book
Was canned because for a couple off reasons
Shailene Woodley Who plays tris wanted them to re write the ending but they wanted to stay as true to the book as can be
When they wouldn’t do that she asked for abserd amount off money to do the last movie sins they wouldn’t re write the ending and she was to die
So they canned it all to gether
Theo James bout the rights to the 4th movie and was ment to be bring it to a tv streaming plantform like Netflix but it’s never came to furtison

Flash forward.
All the Marvel/Netflix stuff. (though the new Disney+ tv content is even better), it would still be good to see The Punisher continue one day.

Hopefully we will see them return as the lockout period ended this year so they can start rolling them out
But I fear it maybe a litte to late damage is all ready done should have just left them with Netflix and charge rolity fees

Dollhouse had a hasty ending after 2 seasons which was a shame.
Carnival should have gone a season longer as well.
I would say the ending of Dexter was not great but there is a new season coming soon.

Yeah I watched that. Enjoyed it but you could see they hastily cobbled a conclusion together because they weren’t given a third season. "
Yeah, I suppose a rushed ending is better than no ending but would've like to have seen a longer run. I really liked the concept. |

Not going to happen. Was lots of talk of a buffy reboot or buffy next gen - and then all the revelations about Whedon's behaviour came out. Not just fucked any chance of a new buffy, but also pissed big time on the memories of a good show. All those positive female role models, and then it turns out that Michelle Trachtenberg had to force the studio to give her a chaperone so that she never had to be alone with Whedon... |

Without a doubt Police Squad! should have had more episodes, and The Naked Gun movies were but a pale shadow in comparison.
Although a series that only got a pilot episode and no series, that really should have run and run, was undoubtably Lookwell, starring Adam West and- thankfully- available on Youtube. |

Brooklyn South - created by some of the same team behind Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue...
....it was never going to be another Hill St, but had the potential to be the uniform/patrol equivalent of NYPD Blue...
....scheduled against Monday Night Football, however, it never achieved great ratings, and was cancelled after just one series... |

I watched 5 episodes and I can't remember why I persevered that long.
However,
Firefly, absolutely had more to offer
Punisher, gawd knows what netflix were thinking cancelling after 2 seasons
Dark Matter, left with unanswered questions
Z-Nation, it was silly and getting sillier but it didn't have any sort of conclusion
Falling Skies, very hasty ending when the cancellation was announced
And although I like Lucifer it is difficult to see where the show could go as the initial premise has worn off and it would risk turning into a soap opera, Final season is due to be released in September, I may have to resubscribe sometime later in the year
