"Once stood on a wasp, got the full sting in my foot. Hopped around with a swollen foot for a few minutes. Man that sucked."
My young dog stepped on a wasp last year, got it stuck between the pads and it kept stinging her when she walked on that foot. Poor little bitch |

Did wonder why she was hopping a bit.
Got it out with a stick and stamped on the f*cker (the wasp that is, not the dog).
She was fine, no swelling at all. Me, I come up in huge lumps if I get stung, even once! |

When I lived in Cyprus we used to get these worm / leach type things that would come in to the house at night. If you walked on then they used to pop and leave a greeny yellow stain on your feet |

A stonefish.
It's a fish that looks like a stone that lays in shallow pools when the tide goes out, it has about 14 spines on it's back that push toxin into the foot when it's stepped on. It's actually meant to be the worst pain ever, people have been known to want their leg amputated.
Google it. It's quite a fascinating creature. |

They can, but very rarely. The ones in UK waters are mainly the lesser weavers and quiet small.
I always thought they were flatfish, until I caught my first one a few years ago!
I react badly to stings/bites but just 2 fat fingers, and VERY painful! It didn't happen to me, but the spines can break off and remain in the wound, leading to infection. |

Wrong, land mines are there to maim. If you kill some one you take one person out of the equation. If you just blow a leg or balls off you take out Three people, two to carry them. The screaming and blood also demoralises those around. The latest is to use plastic shrapnel so it doesn’t show up on x rays. Causes a massive backlog back at field hospital |
