Amazon Prime Video vs Netflix: Which is your personal preference?
This contentious subject could get heated so I’ve reinforced the doors and windows and carefully removed all sharp objects and potential projectiles… |

"Amazon for variety of content but Netflix for streaming quality. " Actually I'd say it's the other way around. Netflix purposely dropped the bit rate of its videos to keep up with demands from so many people at home in Europe. I've come across loads of videos on Netflix that had terrible quality whilst still being 1080p, yet all my Amazon videos that I've watched never have had poor quality |

"Netflix because I like the Originals and original films/shows, also ones produced by Netflix (like Fear Street). And Disney because Loki, Wandavision and Treehouse of Horror."
Which Original, Claus, or Elijah? |

Oh gosh. Mikael Mikaelson closely followed by Freya and then Klaus. Klaus with his half smile is ooft. I do like Elijah though, especially when he rolls up his sleeves before a fight.
Mikael Mikaelson is also Balthazar in Supernatural and equally fap worthy in that. What about you? |

Had Amazon Prime Video first as Amazon bought Lovefilm DVD rental service. Used it to watch films only as none of their TV shows appealed.
At the moment use NowTV (cancelled the Entertainment side as had watched all the shows I wanted to) for films and Netflix for TV shows (but will cancel Netflix once I've seen the shows I want to see).
Also have Starzplay as they had an offer of £1.99/month for 6 months and there's a few shows I want to watch on there.
Not really loyal to any of them as I prefer to mix and match when there's something I want to watch on the service. But so far no TV shows have ever appealed on Amazon Prime Video. |

There and to the left a bit |
Netflix for me - have Prime too and there's some good stuff on there but there's also a heck of a lot of B-movie type filler, which I don't notice as much on Netflix.
As someone else said you also don't get the rental/buy only disappointment with Netflix - which I know you can get round on Prime by click "Free To Me" but it can still be irritating when you forget to. |
