I admit it. I hate the summer. I'm not a miserable git, I'm a man that works. Just go away you humid energy sapping heat. Dry, revitalizing warmth, yes, I'll have a bit of that. However, UK wet overcast sauna heat, no thank you. A cool drizzly rain autumn day, my favourite. Funny thing is, all the people who say they love the hot summer, are the first to complain about being too hot. Am I alone in my hating? |

Agree mate, coming from the mountains in N.ireland, we very rarely see the sun. My ideal day would be a winter frosty and clear day. Anything over 20 degrees I become a mess when working |

I can’t be dealing with the heat - maybe being in a country more adapted to the heat but not now.
My sleep suffers - which makes me miserable!
Plus I love snowboarding, so I’d take that as much as possible! Gimme some snow on a mountain |

I love it this is normally when I do my trips but obviously not the last two years

They not really paratic in the winter nights and it’s so obvious that I have it on as a attention grab lol |

Even having a manual job and working outside sometimes I still can't get enough of it.
Guess I'm in the minority there though "

"Only thing I dont like is it being to hot and hayfever. I preffer winter over summer but summer has a lot going for it. Low cut tops and going commando for example.
"
Now, now, let me not be hasty, you're correct. There are indeed some visual pleasantries |

Give me all the sun and all the warm weather. Summer all the time for me. I look healthier and feel happier. Bollox to winter and early spring. Cold, miserable and dark days boring. |

I prefer spring or autumn! Work is horrible when it's too hot the uniform is not practical for hot weather, the wings get too hot so the men get fractious and frustrated and when I'm on nights I can't sleep during the day as its horribly hot and sticky |

This is true. Everyone shrieks at the males but they’re mainly just hanging around on shit. The females are small silent and have fucking big teeth. They are evil.

Much prefer autumn and winter, nice and frosty/crispy fresh with a little sunshine anytime over trying work in fireproof overalls hard hat etc etc and literally slowly dying in the heat, it’s hard going in summer |

As someone that moved from a hot country, I can say I feel absolutely scammed whenever there's a heatwave going on
Just give me autumn every day and I'd be happy |

Spare a thought for me during this period as I doubtless flag and wither (whilst whinging incessantly) in the scorching temperatures |

My people! Well, mostly anyway.
Not a fan of hot weather at all - just can’t see what there is to love about it.
I like the fact we have seasons, but summer is my least favourite.
I even have a thing for women wearing bobble hats . |

There are days when I enjoy the heat - on the SUP, lazy beach days etc but in general not a fan of muggy heat, biting insects and overgrown footpaths. May and June are generally nice months then late August into Sept.
Spring and Autumn are the seasons with least to complain about - a wet blustery autumn day or biting hail storm in April have their appeal- mostly because they are changeable and rarely stick around for long. Winter is fine when it's cold and wintery, less so when it's cold, wet and dark for days on end.

I don't enjoy excessive heat, unless I'm sat in a swim up bar in some tropical country. But having to work in the heat is hideous.
I do enjoy summer though, everyone is happier, the days last longer, and I don't have to go out with a coat lol |

I love summer, eating outside with loved ones and friends.walking my dog early and having light to enjoy the walk. Wild camping is so much more enjoyable with a fresh dip in a lake, tarn ir loch at the end of each days walking. And in the past I’ve worked in some horrendous heat, same as there as here though A heavy summer storm is an awesome sight to enjoy and watch.
Hate a house that’s to hot though lol
Also live winter too though

In winter I love a log fire and hearing the crackle, snuggling up together, frosty ground and trees, winter sunrises, bring cold (love being cold) and the doing something to warm up. A walk and stopping to brew up, a snuggle together, chopping more logs for the fire.
And Christmas get together with people I love |

No op! I love summer! I love the feel of my skin in high humidity, the warm summer rain, waking up with the birds and sitting with a coffee in the early sun is positively perfect!
Before I turned 40 though I was the opposite! I couldn't sit out in the sun without burning, I hated the heat! Autumn was my favourite time but its definitely summer I live for! |

Summer in the UK is a miserable time me.
Humid wet and uncomfortable mainly, the days of blue skys and crisp heat seem long gone.
I yearn for the autumn and winter....at least we know where we stand. |
