Now I love cake. The sweet delights of a coffee and walnut, lemon drizzle or ginger all make me smile and I like to meet people for cake. However, a good friend today tells me that ‘cake’ has alternative meanings when it comes to sex and Fab. Is that true? |

Well, when ever I engage in cake related posts and conversations I’m talking about cakes.
No euphemism.
Delicious baked sugary goodness.
I hope I’ve made that clear. |

Cake by the ocean was a linguistic confusion between DNCE and their Swedish sound engineers when referring to sex on the beach!
Never seen anyone referring to baked goods cake on here without actually meaning the baked items |

"Wait what does cake mean on Fab? I just thought they either really liked cake or it was a chance to flirt with GBBO style innuendos.
It means they want to spaff on your jubblies, Meli

I've never been a fan of cakes. It's just far too sweet, bad for your teeth and weight. Quite frankly it's just bad for you. So how this can be linked to sex which has medicinal benefits is really beyond me. |

Only other cake is cake the party drug, has been around for good few years now. There was a documentary about it a few years ago with quite a few celebrities trying to raise awareness of it. |

When I joined and everyone was talking cake, I thought they were discussing sex and not cake.
For me stems from the phrase ‘he had his cake and still ate it more’ heard many a time growing up from the females in the family. I eventually found out it was their polite way of saying he was having an affair. So cake in conversation has always had a sexual reference for me as an adult. |

I watched that a few months ago, I can't believe they all fell for it
Oh my, off to watch the whole of Brass Eye now. Chris Morris is a genius "
Yep! I'd seen it before but not for years, binged it not so long ago in 2 days and I was fucking howling. |

I think this is a myth. The Jonas brothers said it came out of language issues with someone on the team confusing the words. People used to say have your cake and eat it too when they referred to affairs but I don't think cake has really been euphemism for sex.
And i don't want the two words confused mostly because I'm obsessed with sex and with cake!
