I wouldn’t recommend Too Hot To Handle then, similar concept but they have to keep their hands to themselves to win 100k. There’s some proper fitties in here, although a little too young for me.  |

I just think it’s sad that these types of women are what girls are aspiring to be.

Being gorgeous/fit or whatever does not automatically mean they are shallow or thick.

i dont have a tv so i do not see these programmes i only hear or read about them.
i do find it strange that jeremy kyle was cancelled over the death of someone that appeared on the show.
the same with this love island, people have died yet its continues.
seems a lack of compassion and real care about people |

Jeremy Kyle was leading the audience and bullying the contestants so he could portray his own version of their personal lives. They’d be promised help and support after the show but these people were from vulnerable families and the humiliation he exposed them to was totally unnecessary. |

Worth remembering, just because someone’s values, morals, aspirations, ambitions or beliefs don’t align with yours, doesn’t make them wrong or give anyone the right to turn their nose.
Assumptions and judgements are just the worst traits to have.

It sucks. In terms of their careers they can't be doing that well else they wouldn't be selling their soul to the love island devil (I don't watch it or have any idea what they do for a living but I'm guessing they aren't as successful at it as they may pretend). I did read about a teacher whose school said he won't be working there any more though! |

I never saw the appeal or the hype to be honest, I find it soooo boring and can feel my brain cells dying if I hear them talk for more than a minute.
Some of the guys are handsome, and the girls are pretty but as said. I just can’t deal….
So it’s a no from me!  |

There something that can be said for switch your brain of mindless TV.
I have watched this before as and previously enjoyed it.
I don't feel a connection to this one. Irrespective of their jobs, they have come across as shallow and yes a bit thick.
For years people have gone on about false women ideals portrayed in magazines and TV. One quote the other night was something like this, "saw him and yeah he doesn't go the gym". Is that not putting undue pressure on young men, now thinking to get a woman they've got to go to the gym and look a certain way.
They're not judging these people by their careers, they just go by looks.

Oh and I think there reaches a point when these type of shows her so big, that the show ceases to be what the show was about for the contestants.
No-one is going on to find love anymore, they're going on to find fame, so they can give up their civil service jobs and engineering jobs to be on Surf washing powder adverts. |

Sex sells unfortunately. Some people are so desperate to be on the telly that they'll be willing to appear in god awful shows like this but what they don't understand is that being famous will be stressful for them and they won't be able to cope with it. |
