As the observant amongst you possibly noticed, its Thursday again, so time to vent, release and let those irritations out!
As is my regular position, I shall be arbitrating as to whether your rants are acceptable or not.
Bring me your vexations folks… |

And I have no proper milk for my coffee so I'm on the long life again."
Erm…
What?!
Allowed on both counts.
I mean, what the fuck? That’s completely out of order and unacceptable! |

Why do people look at other people's profiles.
Take the wording from the top of them to start a new thread that people comment on and praise the OP for being so positive, happy, kind, caring and uplifting etc...
When all they really have done is stolen a quote, then mis-interpreted what it was actually referring too and get away with it.
Gets right on my tits I swear... |

Think of the things that you can get done with the gift of time that they’ve given you!
Like sleep, lots of f****ng sleep, that’s what!

Some man nicked one of my good friends pics and used it as his profile pic! I don’t think I’ve ever had a rant on these threads but that made me cross. Please allow |

I heard that copying is the sincerest form of flattery. Not from me though, I bloody hate it when people steal my ideas without crediting them

The hotel I'm staying at (on a Greek island, holiday) does cleaning at like 2 in the morning. And it's so noisy. I understand that certain jobs can only be done at certain times of the day, but crikey at 2 am? Fortunately it's only around twice a week. |

Tis a fair ruling. That said can I rant at the designers who can make my wipers work automatically but not use the same system to shut the roof when it rains? |

Hmmm…
It’s not without merits but it’s possible to over automate something. Some things you just have to take ownership of, otherwise you get a moist reminder!
Look at it this way; I bet you won’t forget it again in a hurry!

Made worse as the car engine had to be switched off the entire time as it was one of those car washes on a track where it pulls the car through to the end.
And I couldn't close the electric sunroof so had to sit and watch the big brush rolling up the front of the car knowing what was about to happen ha ha |

I'm at a cross roads in my career where I'm paid fairly well for my position at my current company, but the lack of being able to upskill may mean I'm priced out of roles elsewhere. So I either stay and move up the rankings here even though I don't like it, or I have to upskill in my own time to maintain my own marketability... |

Between a cock and a soft place |
I've been looking after my friend since the middle of December last year.
He's lots better now so it's getting close to moving out and back to my boat.
I miss my boat.
But I'm going to miss my friend too.
I'm torn. Can't make my mind up what's best.
That's my rant, my indecisive mind.

Not so much a rant, more of a conundrum or a life choice.
A little piece of advice; do what makes you happy. If it means taking a pay cut, then it will be worth it in the long run with your personal fulfilment.
I’ve had very good jobs and been successful but I traded that for a better work/life balance.
Staying in a place that makes you miserable is pointless |

I feel more like agony monkey this morning!
Change is tough, making choices are tough. You’ve been through an intense period with your friend and one that will no doubt bring you closer for a very long time. That’s a lovely thing.
Your independence is also important though. Cherish the closeness that you’ve fostered, whilst enjoying your own peace. It’s ok to feel sad about something that’s also happy.
It’s very rare that a situation is purely positive or negative, it’s only our perspective that makes it so.
Being conflicted about it is natural, that’s ok. Enjoy the new relationship and step into the next phase of it |

Ahhh yes, I suppose you're right but thank you for the reply anyway.
Up until this point, I guess I've always correlated my progress with my salary so this is the first time that way of thinking has been seriously challenged and that I can still develop with lesser pay... |

Tea, my rant is that I should be sorting out an outfit, starting deyetiing. But instead I'm discussing the perfect penis on what should have been a lighthearted thread. This is what nervous energy does to me, I waste my time talking bollocks. So my rant is aimed at myself and how I'm procrastinating. |
