"Ofcourse I want Scotland to win but I can't see it happening
Keep dreaming sweetheart lol "
We only take part for the after party. Personally at the end of the day its only a game. Doesn't matter who wins....my life isn't going to change! |

My head says England, my heart says England but it's rarely ever easy against the Scottish. We have a better team and it's like that in the Champions league too but time after time you see a Scottish side putting in a doggied performance and I'm expecting no different tonight. It'll be a tough old game, obviously I hope I'm wrong on that front but I wouldn't begrudge it if Sparkle ends up happy

Straightforward win for England 2 or 3 nil .
Infact if Scotland win I'll start a thread tomorrow stating I'm an enormous twat and will do the best naked suggestion in that thread .....
That's how confident I am |

"Not even a contest. Scotland don’t have the quality. England 3-0 "
Agree. They had easy qualifying games too. They’ve done well to get this far. Respect Scotland and hope both teams have a great game…as long as it’s 2-0 England, so I won my bet, of course. |

And I'm supposed to be contracting up in Edinburgh if it weren't fit the pandemic....
So I've been trolling my work colleagues all day with an England win |

"Truth is at half time Scotland are better than us right now.
They are looking the more likely to snatch a goal
I’m concerned you’re right
Scotland are enjoying themselves "
They have been brilliant, apart from some suspect finishing. Deserved that |

They did. All down to the final match ups and possible GD, who goes through is not set in stone |

Lots of tapping it about in midfield hoping to spot a chance instead of attacking and making a chance.
Dunno what's happened to football in general never mind England. It all seems pretty cautious compared to what I remember from the 70s and 80s when you saw teams grabbing games by the scruff and rogering them up the bum. |

"Draw is a fair result, kane needs to be dropped for next game because he's too slow on the ball and overall play was just slow and Sterling garbage again "
Definitely wrong team selection tonight, they just thought it would be a easy game which was never going to be the case |

Not surprised by a draw, Scotland played great as a team...also not surprised by some England fans reactions...England are a young team with some great players...this was a derby match, not your usual Euros game....a draw against the Czechs would actually suit us better re finishing second in group,,,an easier draw in next round....a chance to regroup, learn and adapt....despite the negative reactions...it was actually a good, passionate game |

Sterling, rashford, kane, mount, Shaw, rice all very poor... Again...foden good but got hooked... Southgate looking like a fish out of water now.
Got to do better than that shite... Running into space would be a good start |

How many shots on target did the Scottish keeper actually have to stop? |

Naturally the English are struggling to accept that Scotland matched them all over the park. It doesn't fit their self-mythologising so they play their team down.
It's a shame, but the reality is England are a good team, but not great, and Scotland matched them. Bring on Croatia. |

Jeez. It’s only a game. Scotland did well I’m surprised people thought they wouldn’t be up for it.
England had a very off day. Southgate didn’t seem to know what he needed to do against players who playing their heart out. He needs to switch up next game.
It was a very dull draw from my perspective. Shame because all the other games I have seen this tournament have been real quality.

Well played Scotland, you were well up for the game. Our manager is dour and uninspiring and sets his teams up to play that way. He has a wealth of attacking talent to use but doesn’t know how to play them. The Scotland manager got his selection spot on, they just need a striker who poses more of a goal threat.
All in all England never do it the easy way, we are not favourites but should be capable of reaching the later stages of the tournament, if only we had an a manager with a little tactical nous. Imagine if someone like Bielsa was in charge!
Oh and can we have the old Home Internationals back please? I’d love to see England play Scotland more often. The passion is just something else! |

Well played Scotland. England will get knocked out when they face 1 of the big teams.
They win 1 game by a single goal to a rubbish team and everyone thinks they will go on to win it.
Didnt look like they were going to score yesterday apart from 1 or 2 chances. Had no plan B and was all about bringing on Jack the saviour.
Joke team. |

I agree with that apart from your final cheap shot... Which is not necessary and says more about you than it does them. Southgate has done nothing apart from dampen expectations for 4 years. Seems a nice fella... But if we want to move forwards he needs to get rid of his favourites who are either unfit or out of form. |

"Be nice to see Sancho Saka and Grealish all in the same team for the next game. "
Yep and players that are actually fit and in form and can break into a sprint. Oh.. And who shoot at the wooden frame thingy... |
