Spare room? I assume her house is filled with books and her spare room is her living quarters, cramped bed, lounge, and kitchen. Not the bathroom though. Always separate that should be. |

 Magneto is right, the spare room is filled with books and some are first editions. 
I've got some books in the kitchen but I try and keep the house a bit less chaotic. I want a library like in Beauty and the Beast. |
