"Edinburgh sat on Newhaven Harbour eating fish and chips and chatting shit with my boys "
Even crossing the Scottish border has a calming effect on me, like I'm going home |

If you mean by when you're alone then currently in my new new-ish life what I'm doing right now..
Curled up on my bed with Tea & Biscuits watching a good film ( admittedly the one I'm watching now is actually shit but hey ho ) |

"I used to have to climb mountains and be surrounded by nature to be at my happiest and restore my soul, but as cheesy as it sounds, being next to C recharges my soul too now

We are happy everywhere and in many places. But some of the happiest moments tend to be sat outside the camper in on a warm summer night around the fire pit with a glass of wine or cold brusque with my gorgeous partner watching the sun go down snuggled close- oh occasionally with friends |

Snuggled up with my youngest at the end of the day, reading stories and chatting about anything and everything. My eldest thinks he's too old for that now |

We were talking about this the other week and we both agreed we are always at our happiest when we’re together. Doesn’t usually matter what we’re doing could be shopping, snuggled on the sofa or in bed. On holiday or not. We just hate being apart. Funny neither of us thought being this happy could be possible. (I know, pass the sick bucket!) |

Oh, so many different places
Curled on the sofa with my pooch
Drifting off to sleep in his arms
In the dance studio
Hiking cliff paths and stopping to look at the amazing views
Wandering in a forest
I could go on and on...I find joy in all sorts of things |

I'm always happiest when I get home from somewhere
Shutting the door, taking my trappy clothes off and putting PJ's on and having everything how I want it
Bliss!

Hmmm, happiest is so hard to chose. Snuggling together to sleep with her ladyship is definitely on the list.
Out for a run together the other evening was pretty special, all the colours and scents of the countryside in the evening in early summer.
Half way up a sea cliff with the waves below making that deep concussive boom that you hear and feel through the rock.
Cutting through the cornice at the top of a winter climb and that sudden release of tension as you move onto safe ground without the literal and mental weight of 20 meters of unprotected rope hanging below.
Watching a flock of goldfinches chattering in a hedge.
A freshly cut lawn.
Lots of things make me very happy.

Does a sewage works count? "
