When the fatigue hits me I cook pasta and chuck a stock cube in the water sometimes to flavour it. Chop up mushroom (not cooked I like them raw) , tomatoes, ham and sprinkle over the cooked pasta, then top with grated cheese and bung it in the microwave to melt it.
Easy and filling. Not sure it ticks the healthy box but it's better than takeaway.

There's loads of things you can top it with, I like sliced sausage if I've got any cooked already. |

Your local takeaway,I'm sure like me you have a drawer in the kitchen/hallway full of takeaway menus.
These are the single guys of the cuisine world and would cherish a response from you on one of their tasty meals. |

Well then i would say stick to the can of soup a dry slice of bread and a cup of wine to help you to forget that you are a disaster in the kitchen , don't forget 3 minutes to microwave the soup and dont put the can into the microwave ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

"Just to let you all know, i have managed to haul my lazy carcass of the bed and I'm in the kitchen.
Half the battle done "
You could use carcass to make stock and shorten meal prep |

Take two slices of toast and toast them. Put one slice on a plate, cover the toast with fried bacon, then with a slice or two of cheese. Put the other toast on top and microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese.
Enjoy ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Chop up potatoes into small pieces and steam cook. I have a microwave steamer that does the job. Put tin of vegetable soup in large bowl with a sprinkle of curry powder and micro for 1 min, stir, then another minute. Add potatoes and with 'crusty' bread, makes a decent stew. |
