Great track! Armin is still one of the best DJ's on the Trance scene. I personally love his work and attitude.

That's only a handful, I could ho on. Although my first love musically has always been rock, growing up in the 90's it's impossible not to enjoy some trance bangers. I will add, no three minute radio edits, give me the 7+ minutes cut.

"Oakenfold - Southern Sun, this thread prompted me to play it again....and again....

Goosebumps everytime

Original or Tiesto remix?

Tiesto for me, all 9 min 45 of it!

He used to be my favourite DJ.

I seen him live four years ago and he was good but unfortunately the only old stuff he played was adagio for strings, I was disappointed

I met him in 2006 at slinky in the opera House Bournemouth

You went to Slinky?? Awesome

We used to get the coach every Friday night from southampton up to bournemouth, the slinky Halloween balls in the BIC were epic "

We so had similar nights out back in the day

After playing bootlegged GOA mix for 10 yrs, i decided that I should buy a copy.

Played regulary as well as ABGT on Soundmix. Miss Above & Beyond live shows and cant wait for another Group Therapy session..

Find DI.FM and they play trance, chill, and non stop mixes depending on the chosen genre.. lots of tiesto, oakenfold mixes there

As mentioned already, Armin van Buuren is No 1.

His Annual SOT mixes are still complex but hugely entertaining and I marvel at how he intricately composes everything so seamlessly.

I'd love to get to one of his live shows one day and just soak up the atmosphere, but at 66 years old, and rickety knees I reckon my chances are almost Zero.

Love reading this thread. All the tunes mentioned are awesome but that 4 strings: Take me away is next level old school classic for me. That's being played right now

"Are there any Trance lovers on the forum?

What's your favourite track?"

Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond release new mixes weekly, they have their own Label and always playing new tracks.

Both available on MixCloud, a free streaming App. Great while working as they last a couple of hours.

I love Oakenfold's GOA mix and always playing in Summer.
