Ooooh that's got me thinking. I could piledrive about 6 glazed ring ones into my face at once but a caramel cream filled doughnut is very indulgent and lovely...
I can't decide! ![](/icons/s/eek.gif) |

Asda used to (I haven’t seen them for a while) do big 12 packs of Simpsons ring donuts. By gum they were bloody moorish!
And Krispy Kremes.....need I say anymore? The gastronomic equivalent of an orgasm say I ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

Any donuts are good for us!
The Greggs chocolate creme are pretty epic, and I love the range of Krispy Kremes. There's a Polish donut shop we got addicted to for a while as well but then it closed. Hoping it will reopen soon! |

Mainly the filled ones provided they’re not too sickly. Ring doughnuts are a bit boring aren’t they, unless fresh and hot and ideally with some chocolate sauce. Then you’re talking ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

"Either fresh, hot fair doughnuts..
Or Doughnotts chocolate filled, chocolate topped, chocolatey delight! "
Slightly off topic, but that reminds me of when I used to work opposite an Italian patisserie and they sold massive choux pastry buns filled with chocolate mousse - yum! |

Sorry but sainsburys donuts are just the best. Nothing else tops them. Ring jam or custard doesn't matter. Though the custard ones are my first pick.
Krispy Kreme and donuts like them are just sickly! I can pass them by.
Or there's the little pop dots co-op sold for a while. Now that's a rather pleasurable mouthful to have. |

Custard filled for me, although I tend to eat more ring ones.
I once sat in front of a posh looking lady once on a train and ate a ring dohut in the most sensous, lascivious, disgustingly suggestive way. She stared at me the whole time with a look of total disgust. It was well worth it. It was like a scene out of Charlie Chaplin movie. Not a word was said just looks that could kill. |
