Interesting topic I was a combat flight medic. Doing medvac missions never got called a female white knight. Always a angel. Political correctness is weird. |

All I ever want is people to be honest. If they stand up for someone because they agree, fucking more power to them. If they stand up for someone because they think it'll land them some nookie when really they don't even have an opinion or actually disagree deep down with the person/opinion they're defending then, well, I hope they fall face first in a maggot infested cow pat covered in red ants and poison ivy.

Completely off subject ... well not completely but still ... what I don’t get about the whole white knight in shining armour is the shining armour bit!
Just imagine you need saving, your life is in danger and you desperately need someone to come and help. You are given a choice of a knight in pristine untarnished shiny armour or a knight in battered blood stained dented and abused armour, who would you choose?
Personally, I would choose the badass mofo knight who can fight like a wrong un rather than the one that cares if his armour has a mirror shine or not.
Okay, sorry about that random tangent, please carry on.

If its shiny the glint may blind their opponent thereby rendering them useless.
Plus the smoothness of the metal would mean the opposition may struggle to get a grip on them, and weapons would be more likely to slide off rather than strike true!
Additionally, grime and rust lead to bluntness, or joints not working properly, so they could struggle to move, and show a lack of care and hygiene!  |
