I have noticed that Piers appears a bit obsessed with Meghan Markle. Might just be me noticing this, but for someone that he hates, he spends a lot if energy writing about her. |

A lot of people seem to be very interested in her. The whole sorry saga will not end well, people rarely come out tops when they tangle with the monarchy, even individual members of that institution. |

I hate him. Always hated him.
I think the royal family are doing what they did with Lady Di and "waging a war" (in Lady Di's own words) against her. I'm not a fan of Harry and Megan but I think she is going through the same as his Mum did. The interview they have done with Oprah looks very interesting. |

I think the royal family are using the tabloids to bully and psychologically torment these to, just like they did with his mum. Piers is unhealthily emotionally over involved in this, he can rant for hours about them. It doesn't sit right with me.

I happened to catch a bit of an interview he gave the other day.
He is a man spurned, thats why.
He says she used to be quite friendly with him until something better came along. Ie she is a social climber. And that its a pattern of behaviour that she repeats.
Not a fan of either of them tbh, but if it was true, she has achieved the ultimate in social climbing really!

He’s much quieter about Andrew, a man wanted for questioning in the US for possible involvement in serious matters.
Perhaps not surprising, given he knows Ghislaine Maxwell etc.
I’m a republican, so haven’t followed this closely. However, I did see the article comparing the media’s response to Kate and Meghan doing exactly the same thing e.g. holding their baby bump all the time. Very revealing. |

it's another pr war between celebs who rely on their publicity to remain celebrities. if either party loses their celebrity status then they fall off the gravy train. basically they are both relying on people being outraged to maintain the cashflow and it's clearly working for them. |

Can't stand the lot of them. Morgan is a sanctamoneous prick who got caught out publishing fake photos of British troops in Iraq and now thinks it's okay to lecture the rest of us about morals. I initially supported Megan and Harry for getting away from the gutter press who were ultimately responsible for the death of his mother, but instead of going to live a quiet life abroad they seem to be putting themselves in the news more than ever. No one's interested. |

The problem is he’s very good at getting attention, reactions or stirring these things up, he is far more memorable in the public memory for those things. He fucked up various times magnificently before and has many double standards, but he is clearly what ITV and the Luke want - viewing numbers and the chatter / profit from advertising that goes with it. Sad as it creates a lot of negativity, why don’t they learn from the spread of hatred and bile, from Princess Di to Caroline Flack (though sadly part of the same issues that affected her), I just loathe that type of mainstream media and controversy seeking. |

Luckily I don't waste any of my time watching television.
My only impressions of Piers Morgan are negative ones gleaned from reading Private Eye (which is the only printed news medium I bother with) and from comments posted on here.
Harry and Meghan are of no interest to me. I can put a face, way back in time, to Oprah Winfrey and had never even heard of Caroline Flack until I read her name in the post above.
The choice is anyone's to bother or not with these public figures. I have other interests to spend my time on and don't feel that I'm missing very much. |

Piers is one of those people who have no talent themselves yet crave fame and fortune and have found that the only way there can achieve this is courting controversy by picking on someone famous or a controversial subject, the other year it was all about Little Mix been bad examples to girls a couple of years before that he was in the state’s giving it large on gun control. In my opinion he’s an abhorrent excuse for a waste of oxygen but that’s what he thrives on and that’s why he continues. As long as he’s dividing and causing discussion or argument, he will be there.
He just tunes into the latest hot topic and vents his spleen.

From what I've read,they had one "date" and he put her in a cab to go home but she went to a party where she met Harry...and the rest is history.
Pure speculation on my part, but it's common practice amongst my family and friends to text/phone to say we've got home safe after a visit, even if it's a five minute drive away. Perhaps he was peeved not to have heard from her after that, but a six year vendetta is extreme and alarming.
