Depends what I'm using it for;

If I'm making garlic bread then ciabatta everytime

If I want to make a fancy sandwich then it's a baguette

"How about a ciabatta baguette?"

Eh? No that's just not right, baquette is baguette shaped, ciabatta is more of a flat elongated shaped breaded thing

Under the Duvet

They both have their merits.

A fresh crusty bagette is a thing of beauty...as long as it doesn't have too much middle...I prefer the outside to the inside.

A ciabatta on the other hand should be chewy and have an open texture...perfect for avo and a glug of olive oil.

Don't get me started on bagels though.

Dubai & Nottingham

Baguette, much more versatile. I wouldn’t risk feeding ciabatta to the ducks or geese, they might not even like olives
