I love my 'leccy' blanket. I bought it when i lived in a flat with very little heating, it was wonderful. I still use it now and often use it instead of bumping the central heating up. It's on a kingsize bed but i just switch on my side as hubby gets to warm otherwise |

"I hid my ex's electric blanket, I like to sleep in a cool environment not a sauna!
This. I have my bedroom window open even in the winter "
I hate summer and like a cold bedroom, but it is so different. Put it on just for an hour so the sheet is warm when you get in, mixed with a cold room so you can get under the covers, snug as a bug in a rug |

Oh lord no. I have my windows open all year round and the radiator never goes on in my bedroom. I like my bedroom cold, everywhere else in the house boiling. |

Never needed an electric blanket as I tend to prefer the cold bed and snuggle into it.
Im really a warm person too hot in summer for most, But loverly and warm in winter to snuggle into.
Saying that I can sleep with a 13 tog on the bed, Summer or winter though winter I pull the 15 tog out. |

I have a 13 tog 100% Canadian goose down duvet.... keeps me cool in summer toasty in winter...
Only kicked it off twice for being too hot, or was it the man I was next too!
Best £270.00 I’ve ever spent, yes my duvet really did cost me £270 and that was in the sale! |

Used to use one in my old house up north just to warm bed before getting in....now it is Flannel sheets with duvet on top, Lolly likes to burrito with them occasionally....however I am a pit of lava during the night so have windows open, a cooling pillow and a small air conditioning fan by my head or I can get very foggy headed ! |

Can't stand an electric blanket, far too warm.
What about gravity blankets? Anyone used one? Keep reading that they are really good for sleeping, just don't know anyone who's got one or used one. |

I'm sure we could generate enough heat between us
Do I sound like a sad lonely old man on a gameshow? |

You would not have dared do that to me dear!
Haha, I bet you've got a 100 tog quilt as well "
Yes lol but I’m in the menopause so I have hot flushes one minute then freezing cold flushes. Don’t know where I am with my temperature most days |

What are you on about man? I've been to parties when some people have had a reasonably good nights sleep in a bath |

"Don't forget to switch it off before you get into bed. Safety first.
Mine can stay on while in the bed."
Mine too, has a timer, so pop it on for an hour and go sleep |

"I prefer a hot water bottle
Never liked them since one leaked on me before, also the blanket covers a wider area "
I use both a hot water bottle and a heated overblanket on all but the handful of hottest days of the year. I feel the cold terribly at night and can't sleep if I'm freezing. |
