Before I left the wife, every morning I got up 20 mins before her alarm, let her dog out and made sure there was a hot coffee on the side ready for when she woke. After a few years I began to resent the fact that not once did she do the same for me. Its little gestures that show you care that make all the difference to me. |

That’s much better than flowers. I’d have to pretend I was grateful receiving flowers and remember it’s the thought that counts. |

The flowers were just used as symbolism, the closest plant to flowers I would appreciate receiving would be a cactus. But that would just made me think she thinks of me as a prick  |
