Are they the same people who talk loudly in public while on their mobiles without a hint of being self conscious, unlike the rest of us who take the call and say I’ll ring you back ?! |

Pretty sure there's a whole generation out there that have never realised you can talk on the phone with it held to your ear rather than held out at arms length on speaker so you have to shout to be heard.
But yes. They may well be the same people.

I love the ‘behold my (Billy bullshit)) wealth’ convos I sometimes overhear whilst sitting on trains: ‘Wot wot - yes Tarquin, I’m taking the yacht out at the weekend. I might take a sojourn in Monaco wot....’ sort of thing. |

Don't start the self-deprecation debate. 
I see the forum as a place for many conversations. We all have that friend who only ever wants to talk about themselves, usually starting with an insincere "How are you?" before launching into to their tale. Those posts are just that but for a wider audience.
Whether they also broadcast their phone loudly is a different issue. |

That's about 90% of this site.
It's one huge orgy of narcissism.
Cant speak for the guys but most women cant cash the cheques they write.
Owning a mirror may help them. |
