Practice on yourself with something small to begin with and then work your way up. Use the amount of lube you think you need and double it.

Relax. Toy on clit. Spoons position. Take it slow. Lots of lube. Get him to enter you then hold it. Don’t move till your ready then you control it, pushing back until comfortable and slightly moving in and out. Once you get used to it you can change position. I find anal toys etc don’t help |

Lube, don't be afraid to use lots of it. Start with other foreplay until you're relaxed. Being tense is likely to make it hurt. Use a finger first, then a small anal toy and go bigger over time until you find your maximum size. Don't go straight for a cock.
My first time, it hurt like crazy and I bled. Lack of lube didn't hemp with that. Now, I prefer anal penetration to vaginal. |

First time will be uncomfortable, but worth it. Relax but go very slowly, get him to pause when he first enters until you've relaxed around him a little.
I find a buttplug very helpful as prep. Have you practised on a dildo first? |

I recommend spending a couple of weeks to prepare if your first time. Buy a couple of different size butt plugs and a bulb douche set.
Each day douche and then put a lot of lube on the smallest butt plug and wear it for a couple of hours. Do this each day and move up in size when easy to insert. A couple of days before anal wear the largest size butt plug overnight and repeat.
On the day you plan anal douche really well in the morning, wear the butt plug and douche again an hour or so before. Have a nice warm bath to relax, put lots of lube in and wear your butt plug again.
I recommend doggy style and ask your partner to remove your butt plug and just insert the tip of his cock and stop and then let you move back on him slowly and stop if you feel any pain. You can then move as you wish.

On YouTube there is a LoveHoney channel they explain how to start with anal sex. You’ll need to buy an anal douche to wash out your bottom and plenty of lube if he rims finger insertion etc till your relaxed aroused and to go slowly and gently.

You might try taking psyllium husks for a few days beforehand. It's a natural fibre that thoroughly cleans out the digestive system.
Also think about using an anal relaxant spray or gel as well as lubricant.
And if your using condoms these will dry you out very quickly so keep reapplying the lube.

Have you tried using butt plugs or toys designed specifically for anal use? I am assuming you are planning your 1st time actually having anal sex, not just any type of anal play.
So I would suggest you take time to explore your bodies reaction to having something inserted into your ass during some slow solo play.
Start with small thin butt plugs and gradually work up in size.
It will feel alien at 1st and it may hurt, but if so, just go with the sensation and breathe deeply until the burning sensation dies away, and it will.
Once this is over then you can begin exploring pushing the toy in and out and fucking yourself with it.
Maybe move up to an actual dildo for this.
As said before use lots of lube.
You can buy lube specifically for anal play, and I would recommend you doing so, it is thicker than the general water based stuff for vaginal penetration, and lasts longer.
I find when prepping for anal sex.
After I have cleaned out with a shower douche attachment,(until the water runs clear) I will insert a large butt plug. This keeps the sphincter open so that it does not constrict again. Then simply remove the plug & insert penis!
If I do this then there is never any burning painful sensation and I can get straight into the pleasure.

Relax, lots of lube. Try using toys first. Beginners but plugs ect, Start slow and work to what your comfortable with. When I first started anal I would use my clit vibrator to take my mind off it... the orgasm was amazing.
