I love but ppl say it’s like dog food. Some say dog food is better? I love the pastry when it’s rose and golden crispy then the doughy layer, then the finale is the gravey boat of meat, like a little trifle of heaven all in a little tin! Mmm I know what I want for dinner now. |

I used to love them, now though the topping is still great the filling....Well there isn’t any is there.
Still worth a £1 though if you want something easy that doesn’t require too much washing up. Good workshop food, leave it in the tin with a couple of buttered rolls

I can remember going to a friends house for tea and her Mum had cooked a Fray Bentos pie, I never had such a delight before  And I vowed to never have it again, I was 6
