Apparently prior to his sad departure, Lewis Collins was in talks to reprise his character in a new series of The Professionals. Had it have gone ahead, he would have been playing the head of a newly assembled team.

Alas, it sadly never materialised

On a mooch

Sapphire & Steel, Tales of the Unexpected, Blake 7 I was allowed to stay up for

Apart from Saturday morning TV about 10/11 Tiswas, swapshop was the main. Runaround and It’s a Knockout I remember from that era as well.

As a 4/5 old the only tv I watched was Saturday afternoon, I’d be home from playing out for the wrestling (Big Daddy / Giant Haystacks) followed by 10-15 minutes of Disney cartoons, then it was tea (always the same) sausage, egg & chips

A great film! The soundtrack by Roy Budd was brilliant to. I always thought Collins would of made for an absolutely perfect James Bond.

He did actually audition for the role but the producers didn’t take to him, citing that he came across as, ‘Too macho’.
