At least once every so often.
Sometimes a lot, sometimes not at all.
Could go days without, but never months.
Although it can be frequent to an extent.

24/7. It’s always there in my mind at any given moment 
I’m just capable of thinking around it. It’s like having the radio on in the background. It’s always there you just learn to drown it out but occasionally you get sucked into it and it comes to the forefront  |

This is an excellent way of putting it. I was going to compare it to being hungry all the time, but the radio analogy is probably even better. |
