Somewhere In The Ether…

‘Sleep. Those little slices of death - How I loathe them.’ Edgar Allan Poe.

Well bugger him say I, as I bloody love sleeping

My good folks:

How many hours a night do you sleep on average?

Do you generally nod off quickly or else are you plagued with regular insomnia?

Do you snore? (Go on, admit it) and if so, have you ever tried to remedy it?

Have you ever sleepwalked?

Have you ever suffered sleep paralysis?

In fact, anything and everything related to sleep; please feel free to discuss it here

Never snore.

Never get more than 2-3 hours a night.

Sleep walk

And suffer sleep paralysis.

I put some bubble wrap on the floor by my bedroom door, just to be sure I don't wander too far :p

?

I probably average about 6 hours a night through the week, but tend to catch up with a lie in at the weekend.

I snore...apparently rather loudly I occasionally mumble nonsense as well.

I've never sleepwalked as far as I'm aware

7-8 hours but usually wake a few times in the night. I do snore and have woken myself up snoring. I have been known occasionally to shout and scream

Sleep and I are not friend's. Regularly suffer with insomnia and have a tendency to drop in to a deep sleep just before my alarm goes off.

I listen to music for half an hour then drop straight off

I snore when I have a cold (sinuse issues)

Slept walked as a child, frequented the inside of my wardrobe on a regular basis

I sleep in the recovery position wearing pjs x

Northampton Somewhere

I average around 7-8 hours but I'd prefer more, I love my sleep. It's often a broken sleep as I sometimes wake up for a wee or my boiler will make a noise.

I fall asleep easily and can sleep anywhere.

I definitely don't snore.

I used to sleepwalk a lot as a child, my parents put bells on the doors so they could hear if I went outside and have as an adult as well. I sat on my mother in laws bed and asked her for some kitchen roll once All of my children have sleep walked at some point and they all talk in their sleep to ~ it can be scary!

My friend had sleep apnea and wakes herself up around 70 times a night. She also has a thing she has to wear at night, she says it helps a bit.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m very sorry to hear of some of you struggling during sleep xxx

I always consider slumber to be one of life’s greatest luxuries (yes, I’m a REALLY lazy bugger)

Snoring: I am ostensibly guilty as charged

I was looking into trying some of those butterfly suture looking things that is placed on the bridge of ones nose to somewhat abate my apparent nocturnal warthog impressions...

Can anyone vouch for their efficacy or shall I save my pennies towards the PS5?
