Of food! (before you perverts begin thinking of smut )
Are you like me, who devours their food as if they'd been starved for weeks, or instead do you savour it slowly; chewing it 30 times before swallowing?
Over to you. |

"I eat normally....but I'm always the last to finish. My kids moan at dinner time because a house rule is that you don't leave the table until the mothership has finished "
Good rule. I never stop dining at the table until the lady has finished either |

It used to be the opposite for me in that I couldn't leave until I had finished!
Got better as I got older though |

" Does anyone involuntarily close thier eyes when eating really good food ? I’ll often drift off and need kicking it’s that good "
They call that a culinary orgasm |

Yesssss! And I hum or moan gently when if it’s really good. Embarrassing in a restaurant or staffroom |

"Grew up in a house with 9 people - if you didn't eat fast you risked missing out!!"
So I’m told, Firemen tend to eat fast and frequently opt to eat their favourite bits first in case of an emergency call out and having to leave behind their meal. |

A pride of lions in your household. Feeding time must've been a free for all! |

"Usually a gobbler, in any occasion! However... maltesers... nibble all the chocolate off to savour the malty scrumminess inside!
Oh yes....I most certainly savour my bites in chocolate. "
This I can relate to |

There and to the left a bit |
"Grew up in a house with 9 people - if you didn't eat fast you risked missing out!!
A pride of lions in your household. Feeding time must've been a free for all! "
That's a pretty good analogy!! You either got stuck in fast or went hungry!! |

A bit of both. I bolt the food on my plate that is my least favourite part of the meal (broccoli) and then savour the food I enjoy. |

I eat pretty quickly - it depends what it is though.
I find slow eaters quite irritating
Going out for a meal with someone that puts their knife and fork down after every mouthful and chews 52 times before swallowing the tiny fork full

At home I eat normally, bolting your food results in indigestion...
If I’m dinning with someone I like to take my time, enjoy the food, the surroundings and company
A rather plush Leopard restaurant, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and the most lush dessert I still cannot remember the name of! Apricot something! |

"I'm a savourer, always last to finish...I like food too much to gobble it without tasting it.
A connoisseur "
I just appreciate good food, especially when someone has been kind enough to cook for me |

I can control myself when dining out with someone though it's a constant, conscious effort
The urge to devour good food is strong |

I'm a pretty slow eater, I like to taste and enjoy my food. Much prefer to eat in the style of meze or tapas so I can take my time
J however, inhales food. He barely chews!
