Have a look at the so termed, ‘4-7-8’ technique.
It’s a simple timed breathing exercise which serves to relax oneself and prepare the mind and body for a peaceful trip to the land of nod (hopefully!)

Putting your phone down is a good idea, the light from the screen tricks your brain into thinking its daytime, that's why a lot of devices and some websites have a night mode. |

This is a really good one and there are a few others.
Progressive muscle relaxation is brilliant too and there are some great free guided ones on YouTube. |
