Ayr

Just finished watching it. Tennant is genuinely chilling as Nielsen. The rest of the cast are first class. The feel of it all is spot on. Top notch historical drama. The good reviews are justified.

Best thing of its kind since 'Appropriate Adult', from 2011 - about Fred and Rose West.

I love tennant as an actor but in this his performance left me cold, which is a shame as I usually enjoy these dramas.

Travelling

I’m normally not a fan of Tennant but he portrayed Nilsen brilliantly. Gone well up in my estimation now. I thought the documentary he did the narration for was really good to.

I thought it was really good too. I was gripped which hasn't happened for me with a series for a while.

Southport / Ellesmere Port

It was when I watched the final documentary when Nilsen himself was being interviewed on that TV show that I realised how scarily accurate David Tennant was in his portrayal of him. The whole series was gripping too.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Where was the Tardis? And why was Dr Who acting such a creepy bastard?

Was excellent, and despite the complaints about it being too gory I didn’t think it was at all x

He was a serial killer who fucked corpses and chopped them up - what the heck did the complainants expect? It could have been much more gruesome.

Best mini series that I've watched in months.

Excellent acting from all and a chilling story.
