Just finished watching it. Tennant is genuinely chilling as Nielsen. The rest of the cast are first class. The feel of it all is spot on. Top notch historical drama. The good reviews are justified.
Best thing of its kind since 'Appropriate Adult', from 2011 - about Fred and Rose West. |

I love tennant as an actor but in this his performance left me cold, which is a shame as I usually enjoy these dramas. |

It was when I watched the final documentary when Nilsen himself was being interviewed on that TV show that I realised how scarily accurate David Tennant was in his portrayal of him. The whole series was gripping too. |

He was a serial killer who fucked corpses and chopped them up - what the heck did the complainants expect? It could have been much more gruesome. |
