I'm still doing bodyweight stuff at home, playing tennis and tentatively going rock climbing again. It's been a while, but really enjoying (slowly) getting back in the swing of it. |

I've virtually doubled my time spent in the gym compared to pre lockdown . Making up for lost time maybe. Feels great though and I'm hyped by the progress. Finally cracked my back workouts *happy dance*. |

I'm actually concentrating on the glutes at the moment so it will have to be face thrusts. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

Oh I'm sure if I kneel in the right place I can encourage you to engage and hold those glutes for a bit |

Back into the gym routine 4/5 times a week. Just need to fit in the running and I should be race ready in a month or so.
Still trying to get back into the swimming pool, but can't get a slot because I'm not an actual member, just a pay and go. |

Made the belated decision to rejoin the gym two weeks ago, after having a really good look at the extended measures my gym is taking on (beyond national guidelines). Been working out at home before that, but I need the gym for my sanity.
Still in the hating life stage |

"We haven’t been back the gym since it re-opened. We now need to book an appointment and the appointment times don’t suit at the moment. Can’t wait to get back to it."
I'm fortunate that my gym always has slots. It's large and so has a lot of capacity. When I booked my slot today there were at least 85 more places available. |

"Recently gone back to swimming, maybe gym soon.
Need routine.

I know what you mean, I definitely need to try and get into some sort of routine again with the gym, swimming, running again. Proves difficult these days! Xx her |

The most important thing is doing things. I so feel you on loss of strength. But every time I go I get stronger |

"Legs today.
... If dude lets me at the hack squats
Opposite at our gym. Men are obsessed with upper body, always the squat machines that are free. I love the hack squat and the pendulum squat."
Oh same at mine. He was doing something upper body with the machine I needed. Got there in the end.
Tomorrow is going to suck |

I go to fitness classes that are run by a PT.
It's a great mix or classes and exercise, very hard work but the PT is excellent and keeps me really motivated, and makes me want to go back for more and more.
Exercise become addictive when it makes you feel so good. |

I just started back a couple of weeks ago, after a long break. People aren't really mixing that much though. Not just with me, but with anyone to be honest. But is good getting back in to it. I do feel much better for it. |

Gym: No
Learning to stretch more: Yes
Foam rollers: Yes
After learning about proper stretching, thanks to decades of long term cramps and spasms. I can start to feel less achy.
I have now got the confidence to try and fix my own injuries, even after visiting physios who say If-it-works-for-you-then-keep-on doing-it.
Foam rollers are cheap and an amazing bit of kit. |

Not been in the gym since lockdown began.
Can feel a serious decline in both fitness and mental health but still really unsure whether or not to go back just yet.
I don't usually see many at the gym as I go late at night, 11-12pm, as I am a bit body conscious and have anxiety |

"Not into gyms, I go out on my mountain bike, play footgolf and do yoga, more of an outdoors kinda guy "
Its whatever one enjoys and keeps one moving
I'm very much an outdoor enthusiast and also enjoy the gym heavy weights and yoga
They are all part of one big picture to my mind complimenting each other |

Quit my gym to save money over lockdown.
Picked up a 30 day floor exercise workout app, smashed an abs one last month and doing an all over body one now. Lift most days but can't say the waist line is looking good lately :/ |

I paid my PT all through the lockdown, he's self employed and didn't want his income to be zero. He got a job doing the track and trace phone line but still, I pay my subs despite having been out of action for nearly 6wks now. |

Handy way to do it, isn't it? A brief moment where you've nothing else to do, and easy to get in to the routine. |

I'm so grateful that I put up with that shit now. At the time I had some very choice words about my physiotherapist, given the pain (which I shared with the kettle). |

I laughed at the physio after the cast came off and they said stand on your toes.. And then looked in disbelief when my foot remained completely flat on the floor |

Weird, innit?! I've not been able to stand on the tip toe of my left foot since my injury. No knee reflex either..... |

Can't be bothered with the gym.
Tried it a couple of times and got annoyed by all the peacocking posers.
It just felt like the wrong place for me when I was trying to lose weight and get fit.
I ended up running and doing yoga and that seems to be working well. |

Fair enough. Open to all physical activity.
I was sort of the opposite (except also hate posers). I thought I didn't belong in the gym. Turns out, I really like lifting heavy shit. I live in an apartment, and dumbbells won't do |

Don't get me wrong, I love the equipment.
Used to be in an empty gym a lot at uni and it really did feel good. |

We are both back training up to the level prior to lockdown again.
I hope gyms continue to stay open. My gym feels very "covid safe". Lots of sanitiser and limit on numbers allowed in.
Feels great to be back. HIIT classes in the garden, whilst okay to maintain basic fitness, did not quite hit the spot. |
