I’ve been binge watching Harlots with the beautifully buxom Samantha Morton.
This got me thinking.....
Ladies, might I humbly entreat you to post/direct me to any bodice and corset pics you might have so that I (and I’m quite sure the majority of my fellow chaps on here!) may salivate in a decidedly licentious manner whilst simultaneously experiencing thoughts of a lewd nature?
And a quick question: As sexy as they are, how comfortable are they to actually wear?

I agree the show has certainly added a bit of flavour to these current times.
I love the whole ensemble of corsets, bloomers (and french style knickers), stockings tied at the top with a ribbon, ankle boots, long dresses pushed up to the hips ... |

I think that womens' underwear from the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian periods is special (remembering that only the rich and middle class had underwear).
I find all clothing from those periods (especially the women's) as fascinating, it plays into my interest in steampunk and gothic vampires.
Unfortunately the trailers for "Harlots" left me cold so I have not bothered to watch it. |

I must confess that the first episode left me a bit cold myself - it seemed to be merely lots of humping in alleyways to a heavy bass soundtrack but I stuck with it for a few more episodes and am pleased I did, for the show really opens up into something else including a particularly sinister conspiracy amongst the aristocracy.....  |

I used to tight lace but stopped when pregnant and haven’t started again. I’ve certainly felt it again when I have. My body shape has changed though so my bespoke corsets aren’t fitted to my proportions anymore, and don’t fit as comfortably x

It is also the default womens' outfit at kink events for those who don't get on with latex (well where nudity is not allowed).
I have been officially in charge of tying up the corset laces (and other parts) of a play partner or two.
