Red velvet, Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, coffee and walnut, carrot cake, honey treacle cake.
Let’s just all take a minute to appreciate cake for the gift it is |

Loving red velvet but cant be arsed to make my own at the moment and shop bought are rarely good.
My faviurite is my secret passion cake (a take on carrot) because it also contains bananas and walnuts, very moist ( its allowed, its cake!) And with cream cheese frosting, its the mutts nuts! |

Hummingbird cake is amazing too, banana and pineapple instead of carrot |

Warminster is a great town btw, used to live there for a long time.
I quite like the idea of a bakewell tart/sponge cake.. almonds and cherry flavour.. nom x |

I drove past a bakery today and had a moment of weakness. Some unknown force made me buy a slice of traditional apple pie and a slice of lemon cheesecake and chocolate muffin. Not to mention the pasties and sausage rolls.
I think not so much as cabin fever but lockdown fever.
We should support the non chain bakers. |
