That one line is enough to make me flip.
It is the most egocentric thing you could ever say.
Like, they are so sexy you couldn't possibly detest them based purely on their cuntish behaviour/personality.
What phrase really gets under your skin? |

What makes me laugh the most is when my phrases piss other people off on here and then they quote them back at me or say "innit" in a failed attempt to try get at me.... WIN, innit!!! |

Anyone who ends a sentence with ‘Fact’ or ‘Innit’, usually after spouting complete bollocks, just cause you say it, doesn’t make either so.
Or ‘I just Say it as it is!’ usually after they’ve been a narrow minded prick. |

But things aren't just truly random - it'd chaos I tell you chaos "
Chaos would be way easier to understand than believing it was pre-planned that I was gonna get with someone evil who enjoyed beating the crap outta me physically and mentally.
Like oh great, ta for that.
Followed up with falling in love again after I'd promised myself I'd never let another man that close, and then learning the truth in lockdown that his marriage wasn't over at all! Like, some cunt is sick and twisted to fuck if they're creating this shizzle and pulling the puppet strings. |

See this one confuses me. I do think I'm a straight talker but I don't intentionally be an arsehole. I'm aware I'm definite marmite. If I AM being an intentional arsehole tho I make it quite clear. |

Not a phrase per se but... "I don't want too much".
Of course you don't want too much. As, by definition, that would be more than you want. it'd be too much. How much that amount is a separate matter. But everyone will have a limit, and more than that limit would be... too much! |

I'm not trying to blow smoke up your bum, but from what I know of you I would have to say that you are very direct, but you're not a dick about it. I think so many people wrongly label themselves as a straight talker but really they are just rude and insensitive bastards, but that's definitely not how you come across.
I don't think there's anything wrong with saying it how it is, as long as you're respectful and only give your opinion when necessary.

Anything about not changing for anyone. People often mistake excessive stubborness and pig headedness for being a strong person. Personally I think the strongest people are those willing to do some self reflection when confronted with feedback they don't like. Of course the problem isn't always you but sometimes it is and sometimes it's both of you. Continuous self improvement is a great thing. None of us are perfect. |

Two general ones that make me irrationally angry: in regard to TV programmes, I hear people increasingly refer to "seasons" of a show. No, we're in Britain where it's a series
And in the business world "going forward" gets my goat, too. You mean "in future"....
I caught myself using that last one once and had to have a stern word with myself |

You don't have to be an arsehole to tell it as it is. Just have to be honest. It's the delivery that counts. Ie. "Yeah your going to die. Can you shut the door on the way out?" This would be an asshole.
My hate though is "Really?".when not used to express suprise but to express annoyance or irritation.
Ie. When I do door work and I refuse entry
Really?
My response is yes really. You really sound like a towie reject when you say that.
You really aren't that smart if you can't understand or comprehend the words no you can't come in.
And are you really suprised when you walk to the club door barefoot (well I say walk.) WKD blue in one hand knickers in other, and I don't let you in?. I could go on but, hey, you know. |

"Don't hate the player, hate the game.
Yessss, this one, trying to make excuses for your digusting behaviour
Oh yes! How's about, I'd rather not play the damn game because it's immoral or causes hurt. Fucking twats.
"
I wonder if those people would say the same when its their child coming back heartbroken by "the game" |

"Those that say that they 'don't care if they're not liked by others'.
.
This normally written by those that know they're not liked.
But I dont care, but i dont think im disliked really, just that you will always find some people dont like you, and im ok with that x"
Like many of the things already said here - it doesn't apply to everyone and the context in how things are said does count. Xx |

When someone puts ‘hehe’ in a message. I don’t know why but it just bugs me it’s definitely me being tightly wound though, it’s not offensive, harmful, rude etc |

"If you can't handle me at my worst, you dont deserve me at my best"
BULLSHIT! I dont know about anyone else, but when I'm at my worst I wouldn't expect anyone to handle me, because I can be a massive cunt.
And why wouldn't you want to be the best you can be at all times?? |

"not bad" in response to how are you?
And, people asking how you are in passing. Like they're actually going to stop and listen if you're not "not bad?" I just say "hello/good morning/afternoon" it's acknowledgement without fake interest. |

I normally try and answer that question with something unusual. Just to be different. |

I know it’s bad but all I can think of is Shaun of the dead
I'm not gonna say if you love her let her go and I'm not gonna bombard you with clichés but what I will say is this...it's not the end of the world. |

Lets put on a show for the guys....
She means girl on girl fun.
Really infuriates me. I am not a circus performing animal. Instant no from me. 1 couple are still messaging us & she said this (others too). I have very little interest after she said that.

Only God can judge me
Which isn't untrue to some extent but as we love in a very social world you can expect shitting on ppl's shoes at Primark and expect no judgment from me |

People who rattle on about how they are misunderstood.
If that many people as misunderstanding you, you probably need to take a look at yourself.
Oh and totally agree with the "telling it like it is" chat too!

tbh (nope not going to even write it out!)
The rise of certain words that have replaced perfectly good ones used for decades before.
Narrative, sense, journey, protagonist etc. It's almost as if someone has discovered a thesaurus for the first time.

"‘I tell it like it is’
People use it as justification to be an arsehole then try pass it off as a good personality trait.
"
Yes! You're a dick when and how it suits you (because I don't think you do it when it'll actually cost you), you lack diplomacy. Congratulations |

Like turning up to a restaurant and someone saying 'hey guys what would you like?'
There is only one male here, the other 3 are female, guys doesn't come into it.
I worked in restaurants for years and It really grated on me. |

Whenever talking to someone I barely know at work:
- Is it beer o'clock yet?
- Working hard or or hardly working
- Is Monday over yet?
Maybe lockdown isn't so bad after all |
