There doesn't appear to be any firm  data as to, or if, this inbuilt yet uncontrollable blood flow disorder has an upper age limit (personally I hope it doesn't). Scientist have simply dismissed information received from the over 50s as spurting little white lies!! That or senility?
At the beginning of this condition you can expect a sudden surge at any time, anywhere !!
Bus rides being the most common activity when this embarrassing known medical condition can strike, vibration often being stated as the cause, easily spotted by the removal and placing of a cap/hat upon the lap. You may be lucky enough to witness the red faced male refusing to stand up and leave the bus after over-running his paid fare. The law abiding males among us tend to feign d*unkenness and crawl off the bus quickly, only to be seen leaping to their feet and pole vaulting over the nearest suitably high fence directly after disembarking and falling to the pavement!!
If you are unfortunate enough to find an angry looking male in the middle of your lawn clutching his groin and muttering "I hate buses" - DON'T APPROACH as he is dangerous and most definitely armed !!!!
Sat at home watching TV with the family comes high on the "Oh Fook" list - signs being arms locked with hands placed over the groin whilst maintaining an insane looking smile with the occasional muttering "I hate Songs Of Praise".
The phrases Hallelujah and Praise the Lord being often wrongly attributed to the religious, when in fact this was first heard spoken out loud by an unfortunate couple with 12 sons after the invention of scatter cushions, the insane smile however remains!!
My own personal embarrassing moments being - bus rides, english classes, wood/metalwork, Songs Of Praise and army cadets (on parade, causing an outbreak between the cadets, even the Sgt Major found it hard to bark his orders, they maintained arms length that day I can tell ya !!) aged thirteen 
Reliable information doesn't exist regarding post mortem erections - scientists are very reluctant to dig up a stiff one.
