Hello my Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.
Well the summer bade us a gentle fairwell yesterday. Now is the season of crisp mornings, multi coloured leaves , hedgerows full of scrummy bounty and conkers .
Some find this a glum time , so lets turn it on its head and an opertuinty for some splendid positivity .
So chums tell me what you like about Autumn?
It could be jolly walks , pubs with roaring fires or even darker earlier to allow nefarious persuits lol

I love the colours; the beautiful reds and oranges of the leaves. I also love the exquisite Autumnal sunsets and the cooler temperatures.
Probably not a popular one but I love the misty nights often experienced during Autumn to

It's my birthday season.
I love the colours and the smells.
Bracken and brambles die back making trails easier to run.
It means winter is on its way and the start of the never ending weather/conditions watch too see when/where I can ice climb/winter mountaineer.

Long nights, brisk sunny days, the smell of wet leaves, bonfire night (and the acrid smell in the air the morning after), warming stews, lazing under a fluffy blanket reading a good book, watching the lights play across the water when it goes dark.
New stationery from the school supplies section in the supermarket, the first frost crunching underfoot in the early morning, pumpkin spice lattes (yes, I'm basic, don't give a shite).
The luxury of a car with a heated steering wheel. Woolly hats, fluffy socks, a million "first day of school" photos flooding my Facebook ti_eline, the hope of hearing Christmas songs in Asda in October. |

I do like the autumnal colours. The browns and oranges. Clothing aswell as the leaves.
Conker picking to keep those nasty spiders out of my house. Mulled wine reminds me of autumn even though I hate the stuff. A nice roaring fire and sat half naked with a big fluffy blanket is nice too. Toasting marshmallows and staring into the eyes of a handsome chappy....Oh and then I woke up |

Mainly the beautiful colours, the crisp light and seemingly thinner air, leaves everywhere, fruit from the trees in my garden, the peace in my house at the end of school holidays, kids giggling round a bonfire at our annual Halloween party.... ....but despite all that I don't really like autumn at all.... |

The cooler nights. Which should mean a better sleep....
The changing colour of leaves from reds to rusty copper or rusty browns (burnt sienna), and yellows.
Peoples clothing colour pallets changing. Woolly socks & boots! |

So much love for this.
I love having pumpkin shade nail varnish at this time of year. All the cute hats and adorable scarves and the snuggly jumpers men and women wear.
I love the earlier nights, the going out for a walk to the local pub and having a lovely stodgy meal and the crispness in the air as the stars twinkle and the leaves get trodden underfoot. I love watching horror films or reading a ghost story snuggled under a blanket and with a candle lit (yep, pumpkin spice time!). I love the warming stews, the rich puddings like jam roly poly and the delicious drinks at this time of year. I love Halloween and it's my birthday as well so obviously Autumn rules. |

Pretty much everything mentioned above especially being able to enjoy the outdoors in the glorious sunshine but without turning into a giant yucky sweaty sunburnt puddle within 5 seconds!! (Heatwaves are just very very silly!) |

I love the darker nights, the colours and the smells, walking through the crunchy golden leaves with my hands tucked deep in my pockets. I love to see my breath in the air and the stars in the sky. Autumn to me is not gloomy but indeed very romantic.x |

Forest colour depth in photography, less dog walkers when frolicking in the bracken, gunsmoke, hanging pumpkins for the chickens, watching the deer come out through the mist in the morning....
Lots and lots more |

Usually towards the end of september the first returning winter thrushs return from northern europe the redwing and the fieldfare, and also skeins of wild geese pink footed geese predominately before more come later along with other species of geese and the changeing colours of the leaves, thou not a lover of the shorter days and colder weather mainly because of my gas bill which is higher for months ahead. |

Absolutely everything! The changing colours of the leaves, the crisp air on long walks, pumpkin spiced everything, mulled wine in front of roaring fires during dark evenings, being able to layer up in scarves and coats.

Darker evenings, cooler weather, leaves browning and falling (and the bare trees once all fallen), mushrooms and fungi appearing (love the fairy circles appearing in my local park), misty mornings, wind and rain, spiders' webs with dew on, the look of the weakening sun, muddy paths to walk the dogs on, puddles, going out in a t-shirt still when everyone else is wrapped up, foggy breath ... |

"Sex is nice it’s not too hot and not too cold just the right time of year for the best cosy sex
You must be doing it wrong. Sex is always hot.."
I mean if it’s cold it can effect your libido and if it’s too hot it can make you feel a little lack lustre. But this time of year is perfect sex temp! |
