A faithful canine companion who alerts me of coming hordes so I can make a quick escape. At no point ever does he get bitten and die a tragic death in my arms... |

"I'd probably go for some sort of lightweight sword or machete, no ammo required as that will be in short supply I'd imagine.
Plus I would look awesome wielding a massive blade. "
'think I'd go for a Gurkha style fighting knife. Just be careful not to get any spatter on myself. |

I've 3 pole arms in the shed, two glaives & a spear.
Also have a poll-axe.
A 1953-pattern British Army machete.
A 14" triple-edged rondel dagger.
A nice, slim misericord for that final act of mercy.
Oh, and a longbow & 2 sheaves of arrows.
Think I'm fairly well set. |

I’m not built for speed and I’m not much of a fighter so this fight or flight bollocks doesn’t really help me.
I’d side with the zombies. Pick your battles and all that |

Mossberg 500 I have one in my cabinet. Plenty of ammo scattered around the rural locations I will frequent in the apocalypse. Good against people and zombies.
Shame I can only get 3 in it at the moment but with a little bit of creativity I’m sure I can sort that. |

I used to do C15th re-enactment, still got some kit left!
Sold my sword though, which I slightly regret. |

Close combat would be a 36" - 42" hybrid hammer.. ball pein one side, axe blade on the other oh and a short sharp pointy end for the eyestab. Doesnt have to be weighty as its length will give it momentum.
Given the shortage of gun shops in the UK anything that requires manufactured ammo is going to be a fail.
Vehicle of choice - old sherpa riot van or one of the ex army landrovers like the had in NI.
Of course this all assumes they are generic shambling movie zombies..
If theyre 28 days later style rage zombies i'm outta there, heading for the nearest defendable castle |

"Are we talking slow moving zombies or quick moving zombies?
Ah man! If they're them fast ones then let me go steal a tank with a flame thrower on it, only way..."
I think with my tits and your thighs we will be quite the formidable team! |

Some sort of spherical force field that surrounds me and just evaporates those pesky zombies but is safe to everyone else.
I could carry on but won’t bore you lot to death |
